I have installed your plugin in our website. I have created new app in our dropbox account and then copy the App key and secret key and paste in dropbox images app key and secreat key section. After save dropbox app settings i have see below error.
We were unable to fetch request tokens. This likely means that your consumer key and/or secret are incorrect.
Please help me by resolving this issue. Thanks.

I have the app installed & authorized. When I click Insert Media / Dropbox Images I can choose any of my dropbox images. I choose an image and then click Sidebar these images.
THis message shows up:
Sideloading /Public/20150824_104808.jpg … Success!
You can find the new images in your Media Library.
However, this image is NOT in my Media Library.

Taking into consideration that the WP plugin does the automatic update of the images from the dropbox folder to the WP library, what does happens when I delete the images from the dropbox folder and update new images? Do the old one still there or they will be replaced to the new images?
Did I made my question clear?
The reason to ask: Ive the intention to upload the images only from the dropbox folder and by the time I don’t want the images anymore, I intent to delete the images from dropbox’s folder and upload new one but I don’t want that the old images to be showing anymore on my WP site.

This item is not required in the actual version of dropbox, so its impossible to use the plugin unfortunatelly please fix it!!!

I REALLY need this plugin to work (don’t we all!). I have everything set up, and if a file is in my root Dropbox directory, I can sideload it just fine. However, I cannot open any sub-directories. They all are listed, but when I click, nothing happens.

]]>Running 3.5.2, Multisite.
Installed, created app @ dropbox.
Chose “Core” and then “Full”.
Entered keys.
Connected to dropbox via pop up, confirmed.
That then reloaded my wordpress homepage in the pop up window, triggered nothing in the meida uploader frame.
Clicking Dropbox Photos again in media uploader window just shows the authorization text.
If I click the authorize link again, dropbox window pops up, and the list of files/folders is shown there like you would see on the web.
Deleted app @ dropbox
Deactivated, reactivated.
Now getting fatal error when loading the dropbox tab of media uploader.
Uninstalled, for now.
Any issues with multisite, 3.5.2, or a change in the Dropbox app creation process (it seemed different than your instructions)?

there is something I don’t understand about the “sideloading” concept: does sideload an image from dropbox copy that image on the server where WordPress is installed? or the image sideloaded will always be on dropbox, and there won’t be a copy of that image on the local server where WordPress is installed?

]]>Hi, can the Dropbox Photo Sideloader plugin be modified to upload the Dropbox thumbnail image instead of sideloading the original image?
From what i understand the Dropbox API currently does not return an URL for the thumbnail but the file instead, so ‘sideloading’ would not work right?
But is there another way to upload the returned thumbnail image as an attachment?
i need this functionality because my original images are around 10MB each so sideloading these images is very slow…

I think i installed your plugin correctly and i created the Dropbox-App
and connected it to your plugin. I can see the “Dropbox Images”-Tab in the “Add Media” Dialog, and when i click it, it says “Loading …” but it never shows anything. The Button below says “Sideload these images”, but ofcourse nothing happens because i can’t see any checkboxes (as seen in your screenshots).
I hope you can find the problem or help me with this.

It would be great if the Dropbox App could be created only with access for one particular folder so that the blog authors find all photos at one place (you might have many authors who are not supposed to see the whole Dropbox).
Also, if the authorization didn’t work because of a wrong setup it returns a warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in …/wp-content/plugins/dropbox-photo-sideloader/dropbox-photo-sideloader.php on line 87 The array contains: ( [error] => Full Dropbox access attempt failed because this app is not configured to have full Dropbox access. Should your access type be app folder (‘sandbox’) instead? ). It would be good to have a button to delete the settings and start over again if Dropbox returns an error.

]]>Great. It works! Solve my problems because of HTTP Error while uploading image from my PC. But the first time, my image did not appeared well because I have space in my image file name. Although the space is replaced by %20 but still, the image is not appeared well. I have no idea what happened.
