Hi,
I just bought the PRO version of Intro Tour, congratulations for your excellent work!
Our site includes a private area restricted to members only (connected guests).
Depending on different rights (managed with ACF), these members can have access OR NOT to specific pages. We use some php code/functions to verify the user rights and give access or not to related menus/pages.
I’ve build a tour of the private area, dedicated to members. This tour includes all pages of this private area.
It works well with members who have access to all pages. But for users who don’t have access to some pages of this tour, when Intro Tour tries to reach this unaccessible page, it come back to the beginning: they can not complete the tour.
So here is my question: is there any “hack” which would allow us to use our php code to skip or not a step in Intro Tour?
Thanks for your help on that!
Best regards,
Olivier

2nd question – we could add a tip to “click” but is there a way to force click an element on the page?
Hello,
We have a lot of active website users, and unfortunately, the server load increases when your plugin is enabled. Please check the attached screenshot where you can see a slow SQL query (captured using the Query Monitor plugin). We have a tour enabled only on the front page, but unfortunately, this query is triggered on all pages, which affects our website and server speed.
Is it possible to improve this?
]]>Hello,
I would like to add some animation to the .dpit-tooltip-text
, but unfortunately, it’s proving difficult. I’ve tried using simple CSS opacity and other animations, but I can’t find any class that changes when the next step of the tour is loaded. Everything seems to be controlled by inline CSS styles.
Could you please give me some advice?
Thanks,
Piotr
Hi, I have a problem with the new function “Skip for future visits”. The tour now starts constantly after the user logs in, even though I have set the option “Run tour only N-times” to 1 (server-based). Before integrating this new feature, this worked perfectly. Now the tour starts permanently at every login.
The aim is that the user does not have to click “Allow the visitor to skip this tour for future visits” again, but that the visibility of the tour is only guaranteed the first time the start page is called up after login per user.
Thanks for your support, Philipp
]]>Hey there,
I’ve just installed this plugin to try it out, but I’m getting the following error if I try and use the visual builder, or if I activate a tour on a page.
The full error is:
Warning: Undefined variable $ in?…/httpd/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/dp-intro-tours/public/class-dp-intro-tours-public.php?on line?79
I think you’ve double typed the $ – Screenshot here:

Subsequently, the tour also doesn’t launch/work.
I’m on WordPress 6.4, with PHP version 8.0, Apache
Hello there,
I am very impressed with the plugin and the Interactive Front-End Feature especially. Definitely considering going pro with this after some more trialing.
One question I had, due to that nature of this plugin it can be hard to get other ‘Preloader‘ plugins to work with it.
I have a rather image heavy page to load which this tour is featured on and was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the Preloader used on the plugin-demo page or something tested that works alongside this plugin with the suggestion to incorporate a preloader feature in future versions.
Thanking you in advance!
]]>Hello, I have the latest version installed (6.1.1), and when I click the deignated start element for a tour, nothing opens. The start element appears to point to an anchor link https://<domain.com>/#
The Tour had been working before, is activated. Is there a configuration element I should look at or into? Thank you for your help, the plugin is usually great.
]]>Hello, this is usually a great plugin. With the recent auto-update, it’s taken the website down with a php error. Could you advise on a fix?

]]>Hello, how are you?
First all the plugin works great, but unfortunately in my specific page it isn’t working.
The page that I try to implement is an “Affiliate Area”, but this page is load by a shortcode, the name of the plugin is “AffiliateWP”.
Usually the Login is on the same page, so after login-in the dashboard show up… I thought the problem would be it and I separate the login in other page, now the “Affiliate Area” is on an different page, so the dashboard will load direct in the URL, without the re-load transition (Login -> Dashboard) in the same URL.
If my explanation isn’t clear, fell free to test it:
https://mealprepsundayservice.com/affiliate-registration
login: joaoCosta password: 1234567890
Affiliate Dashboard after login: https://mealprepsundayservice.com/affiliate-area/
Note: When I try on “Affiliate Registration page”, it work perfectly. Thank you!
]]>Hello, thank’s you very much for your plugin, i have a little problem for the moment, this is the warning message i found in my log, can you tell me how fix it.
Thank you.

]]>Hello,
Since the update 5.3.1, i got this warning :
Notice: PHP Notice: Plugin loaded in?/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/patientorga/wp-content/plugins/dp-intro-tours/dp-intro-tours.php?on line?118
Do you plan to fix it ?
]]>Love this plugin, been using it without an issue until this last update. The page that has it installed (I have a few on my site as “dashboards” for users) shows up as a “critical error” and unable to load the page when clicked.
Moved the plugin out of the folder, and boom, the page works again.
Not sure what could be causing this issue, or perhaps conflict with another plugin? You guys may need to check this out.
]]>Basically, the plugin is not saving my steps. I tried using different browsers, incognito mode, removing all extensions, it won’t save my steps.

]]>I am very grateful for this excellent tool after years of experiment other plugins.
Please how to launch an intro with button click,
I tried with Trigger Object on an image and a on button but it doesn’t work
Thank you for this great work.
I’m getting an error about “not having a correct header”, and then the plugin deactivates.
It happens randomly, so it may be my site, LOL
Thought I’d bring it to your attention just in case.
]]>I see that it is possible to trigger a tour based on a URL parameter. Is it also possible to trigger it based on the user role of the logged-in user? I have a snippet that is used to control content based on user role. I wonder if I can somehow use that to control with tour is triggered.

]]>Good friends, I would like to know if the PRO version has the option to select with the target of the “visual frontend builder”, the option to capture the YouTube play button or the elements of an iframe such as SLIDO, because with the devtools I identify them but He does not even recognize them from the back.
]]>Hi, is it possible in the PRO version to import/export tours so I can create them on one site and install on live site when they are ready?
]]>Hi,
I saw the topic on multisite compatibility from a few months ago.
My question is, is it possible to create a tour that automatically is set for all new subsites? So when a user creates a subsite, the tour is allready in place (same tour for all subsites)
Hi,
I am using Intro Tour Tutorial DeepPresentation plugin to create a tour on my site, I want to show a tour to the user just once only after the user gets logged in, but the current behavior is the count of page visits gets increment every time I visit and then even after logged in tour won’t come. Can you please help me to fix it?
Thanks.
I get this error in error.log:

How to fix it?
Hi,
i purchased the pro version and activated it, however since then the back next and skip button can’t be translated in wpml (even after scanning the plugin). So i wonder if the change that was done to the free plugin to integrate wpml have been implemented in the pro version?
Thank you,
Cyrille
How do I make the tour run after the user scrolls 50px on the post?
]]>Hi,
I’m trying to figure out if there is an easy way to do the following :
1/ insert a shortcode in the content of a step. I already have a shortcode that is able to display the first name of the logged in user, and i would like to show it in a welcome message at the first step on my home page tour (i find this would be a nice touch). However i couldn’t figure out how to have this shortcode interpreted correctly and rendering the first name.
2/ I have a few step contents which have pretty long sentences, and it creates a very wide tooltip. So i believe it would make sense to have a maximum width defined somewhere to avoid that. Is this feature available somewhere ? Or should i add some custom css for that ?
Thanks for your feedback,
Warm regards,
Cyrille
Hi
Can I set the tour to run after the user has scrolled through certain elements?
Thank you
Hi,
We have a site running with wpml for translations. The plugin works fine with wpml, we can do tours in each language of our site, except for the box labels, that can’t be translated : back, next, done, skip.
When parsing the plugin in wpml, it can find other strings, but not these labels. Is there a way to make translatable too, or have some fix for this ?
That would be great, because then the plugin would work fully with wpml.
Thank a lot,
regards,
Cyrille
