Amazing tool! saved me alot of tinkering. Works as described and better. If I had one wish it would be control the colour and font of the button the shows in the general shop page. Right now it inherts the colours from the theme which is fine but having more control is always better.

i have been using this plugin for a couple of years and the only reason it doesn’t work is if your theme is not compatible or has missing code. If it does not work, try a couple of other themes first.

I am an experienced developer, who knows better than to download a plugin to do a simple task like this, however, my clients wanted it. So, after I installed it, I plinked around for about 20 minutes trying to get it to work, it never worked. You would think that a plugin of this simplicity would work straight out of the box. My guess is that there is some obscure setting that I missed that actually makes it work … or it’s just a ploy to sell a premium upgrade.
Either way, just code a download link an be done with it … I will never get the last 30 minutes back …

Great plugin by Square One Media. An easy set up with lots of configurable features to take advantage of. The author has clearly spent a lot of time documenting the features and it pays to have a read.
What sets this developer aside is his support. I initially had some problems with setting up the pro version in my environment and he was straight on it, communicating his progress along the way.

I had a bit of a special use case, where I thought this plugin would provide the functionality that I needed. Unfortunately it didn’t work out of the Box due to the way the users were getting their permissions on the Downloads via a Subscription to another linked product. I posted for help on the Square One Media website forum. The plugin Author immediately understood the issue I was having with my use case, and said he would look into a way to resolve it. About a week later I got a response to the forum post that the plugin had been updated, and the new version added the functionality that I needed. Amazing support for an inexpensive plugin.
