I have draft posts and I don’t want it to download images if the post is a draft and not published. Is there a way to do this?

This plugin downloads the images into a folder named by the original URL. I’d like to be able to replace the name of that folder. For example, I was redoing my website from the web.archive.org and now all my images are saved into:

https://domain.com//wp-content/plugins/web.archive.org/…….jpg

I’d like to be able to remove the web.archive.org part and replace it with a custom folder.

The plugin stopped working after a wordpress update i imagine, and since i wasn’t aware i’ve been hotlinking tons of peoples images directly unknowingly.

I copied some table from WikiPedia with flags in it.

After publishing my post it does not download the images.

The images are still hotlinked from Wikipedia.

Can it update the post img src so that even with the plugin removed after it will always reference the local images (in the backend and front)?

Hi, this plugin is really helpful, however, if you have a blog hosted somewhere else but uses DNS to make it . Eg. blog.example.com and your main wordpress website is example.com then it would not download the external url.

Or I am missing something?
