I know this plugin hasn’t been updated in over two years, so I’m guessing not, but any plans to update it to support PHP 7?

]]>I’m trying to run a sql query on the wp_donations table to bring back results on a wordpress page and I keep getting nothing showing up. I can run the query directly in the database and it brings back results which is making me think there is a permission somewhere that is preventing the sql from running from the website. I can get other queries to work on the page (like wp_post) but not this one. Is there a permission setting somewhere that I need to change to allow the query to run in the web page?
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

]]>I’m using the Donate Extra plugin with my multisite. Each user on the site can create multiple pages which will each contain a donate button. I need a way to distinguish which page the donation is meant for but the table shows the site url for the page and I need to have the additional part of the address to say the page (I’m using subfolders, not subdomain). I’m wondering if anyone has been able to do this. All fundraisers will go to the same account and the company is going to disperse the funds appropriately based off what page of each site the donation is made for. I saw a place in the code for the plugin that will add in the siteurl but wasn’t sure if there is a way to bring over a variable from the page where the donate button is located that will show the page name and add it to the end of the site url.
Please let me know if this makes sense or if there is something else I need to explain to help clarify. Thanks for all your help again!

]]>I have the donation form set up as a widget in the sidebar at https://www.grovechurch.com/giving/
Every time someone changes from a one time gift to a recurring gift, the “number of times” number changes from 0 (indefinately) to 2. I would like to keep the number at 0 by default.
Any idea how? ??

]]>Is there a good reason why you have created single instance widgets ?
I want to use different widgets for different pages.
So I want to have one page format that uses the total donations widget and the donate widget and another that uses
total donations widget and the donation wall.
I can’t do this because all the widgets are single instance only. I need the total donations to be a multi-instance widget.
I think multi instance is the default so I presume you must have had a good reason to use single instance.

I wish I knew where and how can I modify names of default fields of the recognition wall? Ie. I wish I removed “website” and “email” field or renamed it so that published a bit different content on the recognition wall?

Is there a limit to the amount of text a donor recognition entry can have? we have some at https://tinyfootprintsguild.com/?page_id=121 that are not wordwrapping, they go off screen.
I tried to add CSS for blockquote.comment but it still didn’t allow for the text wrap, any ideas?
thanks

I would like to add a short burst of text just under the DONATE header in my sidebar. Something like “Help us help you….” or similar. Is this possible?
]]>Hello,
I’d like to extract the total amount of donations to a text file. How can I achieve that?
Is there a way that I can change some code so that the recognition wall is sorted by date and not the amount?
Also, is there a way to hide or make it optional for a user to fill out the website field?
Thanks again for a great plugin!
]]>I see where users saxonycreative and rallyadmin had this issue also but see no confirmed resolution for them.
I’m using Donate Extra on this site: https://oralcancersucks.jamahost.com
There are three donations recorded in PayPal IPN history but none of them were recorded in the admin nor on the Donor Wall. I did set the Instant Payment Notification URL in PayPal’s settings to the URL in the Donate Extra settings but it made no difference. The paypal.php file permission is 644.
This blog is part of a multisite. Is this plugin multisite compatible, or is there something else? I just upgraded to 3.5 but this problem originally occurred in WP 3.4.2.
Thanks in advance,
Melodie
The plugin functions correctly with PayPal, but is not recording donations or posting to the donor wall. americasrallyingcry.com
I installed the plug-in on another site and it worked seamlessly.
Is there a way to tell if the PayPal settings are incorrect if you don’t have access to them? Could the issue be at the host level?
]]>I would like to default the “Put my Dontation on the Recognition Wall” to yes and also default the “Show on Wall” to “Amount, User Details and Comments”.
Are these options possible?
]]>Hi Justine,
I am still getting emails from Paypal saying “IPNs sent to the following URL(s) are failing”. I have the correct URL set in paypal for donate extra.
Can you tell me the changes I need to make just to fix this IPN issue? I’ve looked all through this forum and the donate plus forum, and tried some fixes, but nothing seems to work.
Thank you,
Jennifer
First, why is there a ‘Website’ field? Is there a way to shut this off?
Second, the field is filled with the original site URL, but has not switched when I dropped the /wordpress from the URL. Either it has outdated data, or it is getting the info from the WordPress Address (URL) field instead of the Site Address (URL) field in WordPress. In either case, if I can’t remove the field, can I at least fix this?
Third, there is a Comments field which is used both for submitting info through PayPal, and for posting to the donor wall. Sometimes people want different information for these. Can they be separated? I have several projects that receive donations and I’d like the person to be able to specify which project, but also write a custom line for the donor wall (such as ‘Donated in memory of….’ or something like that.
In fact, I’d prefer that the user be able to select a project from a required dropdown menu instead of writing a comment to keep things simple. With that it would even be nice to be able to change the default donation for each project, or be able to specify a minimum donation for certain projects, etc.
Thanks,
Philip
