I have a situation where I am moving sites from one host (HostPapa) to a new host (InMotionHosting), they look as though they are set up in a very similar way. I am moving a total of 43 sites across. I have done 20 so far with a few minor problems. I am stuck with this site: suegraham.co.uk where DM albums has stopped working. This site which is identical (as far as the site code is concerned) works: sg3.wingrove-media.co.uk You can see exactly what I mean by clicking on say the item “Chickens and Sheep” on the home page. There is a DM Slideshow at the top of the post. On one site (suegraham.co.uk)it says file not found, on the other it works ok. The files are there on both sites.
I need some guidance on how to debug this. It also looks like this plugin is no longer supported. The developer’s site is down. Does anyone out there have any experience in sorting out issues like this. All of the plugin versions are the latest variants. Including the wordpress version. I don’t think there is a conflict in plugins otherwise both sites would be affected.
Any ideas appreciated to get me started.

So, if anyone could upload it here 3.1.6 or higher version or provide a link which is working, It will be very helpful.
I have to fix a client website, that have this plugin installed…. this plugin make the other plugins break, then I deactivate this plugin and suddenly, magically, the other plugins work like a charm…… BUT THEN.. even with this plugin deactivate it still can make my life harder, the Plugins page on WordPress admin now full of PHP warning… Great!!
Now I have 21 warning like these on my Plugins page…

When I click full screen the gallery displays in full screen, however the menu and footer display over the top of the pictures.
I deactivated and reactivated the plugin – nogo.
Tried across multiple browsers (Chrome, IE, Safari) all act the same.
Any thoughts?

I have been trying to add captions to the images after they have been uploaded and gallery saved. It should be simple enough but what happens is that some will save and some will not save. I have tried this on several different browsers to eliminate that issue.
When caption is entered the box greys out when clicking elsewhere but if I hit enter the page reloads.. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?
]]>Created my wordpress site development environment into my ubuntu laptop. Installed xampp, wordpress and recovered my site into this local deployment. Unfortunately dm-album did not work properly. To verify that there is no problem in my recovery, I created fresh wordpress deployment and installed dm-plugin. Plugin works othevice well, but it just dont show the small images. It just sayt “image could not be found”. When you click to get big picture, it shows the actual image well. Plugin anyhow creates small images into .cache directoty. Help, anyone?

I’ve just installed this plugin and I can’t create any albums or upload any photos. It says ‘Security Error’ when I click START UPLOAD. I’m only trying to upload 2 or 3 photos to begin with, and they are small files (46kb).
Is something broken?

I’m using DM albums on a WordPress site https://www.bergenterblijtsezaken.nl/artikelen/grote-belangstelling-platzconcert-amicitia/ and it is fantastic. However if I enable the download button, I get the following error:
$(“#” + g_DM_FULLSCREEN_GALLERY_ID) is null
This happens both with the google and wordpress jquery versions.
Do you know why I get this error? Do you know how to fix this? I’m using DM gallery version 3.1.6
In the admin section of wordpress the download link works. Could this be related to jquery? I’m using also other plugins that use an jquery library. I believe it has to do with the $ variable?

]]>I see this was already reported about a month ago, but this plugin doesn’t seem to work with the current version of WordPress. When creating a post, I can choose files to upload to the album, but clicking on “start upload” doesn’t actually create an album- no files are uploaded and no directories are created.

]]>When click on the Full Screen Icon at bottom.. All photos seem to be out of resolution ratio (taller, narrower). I have to manually adjust the browser window to make narrower to find back the original ratio.

The plugin works well. However, on the front end the full screen button and the play slideshow button do not work. If I click on stop slideshow the slideshow keeps working. Pressing stop button also does not have effect on the slideshow.
Further the full page button also does not work.
When I use these buttons at the backend, in the settings page, they work as they are supposed to.
I believe there might be a JavaScript issue. Any help would be appreciated.

And when I would enable lightbox intially, I would get great full-size images of the ones in the gallery. But then for some reason when you lightbox a photo now, it actually gets much smaller.

We’ve been using DM Albums on a website and it works fine. We now duplicated the website for use with other content, so we made a copy of the entire site and uploaded it to another domain. The result works perfectly: the duplicated site shows no problems, except for the DM Albums plugin.
In fact; we are able to upload pictures to an album and insert it in a post as usual. However, when the post is viewed, no gallery shows up (although the source code shows the needed code), just an empty space where the pictures should be.
We changed all path settings, upgraded both WP and the DM Albums plugin to their respective latest versions, contacted the host to triple-check the paths, … no solution.
The plugin seems to be working in the wp-admin, but no actual album is displayed to the visitor. Has anyone had this experience? Any solutions?

]]>I found potential problem with this great plugin. When I use WordPress Social Login (to allow readers to login through social networks API), it breaks functionality of galleries. You can see only navigation bar (nonfunctional), but no pictures at all. I think there is some problem with loaded libraries, but I’m no programmer myself and cant find what exactly is causing trouble and it it is WSL or DM Albums…
And just checked this forums and similar problem have more users, may be its related too?
