Hello and thanks for your plugin
Sorry for my bad English. I have been searching and testing all morning without luck.
Each time I edit with full site editing or edit a page/post, I get the Wellcome Guide. I have tried solutions and your plugin. I have readed all the issues in the plugin forum also. In the forum you say that is not needed anymore after WordPress 6.1. But how do I get the Wellcome message to not appear each time one user or I want to edit?
My theme is a Twenty Twenty Four subtheme.
Thanks
]]>Is it true that it is better to install the plugin than to place a snippet? Because the snipet will be executed on each load, but in this case this plugin function is saved in the database, avoiding extra queries on each load?
]]>I picked up from an episode of the Gutenberg Changelog that WP 6.0 has finally fixed the problem with the welcome modal popping up (although I can’t find the official release notes on this). So will probably not release any new updates to this plugin, and eventually delete it.
I would advice everyone to uninstall this plugin and check whether the 6.0 update indeed fixes all their problems. Please report your findings here.
]]>Hello,
I think it’s a great plugin.
The plugin has issues with popups from other required plugins. (Acy mailing)
It also has problems with block themes, I was using Twenty twenty-two
I hope it helps
Thank you
]]>Hi Jules,
Thanks for making a plugin to suppress all the latest and greatest WP nags ??
Only one small bug, The options menu in the “three dots” menu upper right is not showing anymore. Luckily it isn’t needed often, but this can become a problem for people who want to switch on advanced panles like, Custom fields.
Probably it uses the same CSS class as the dreaded welcome message which makes it hard to fix. Maybe worth to put a note the on the plugin.
