As usual, Jeff Starr contributes a great utility plugin to the WordPress ecosystem. Install it, activate it, forget it. No settings, no trouble. It just works!

It’s the fourth plugin I use from this author and it’s another amazing work. I use BJ lazy load, still the best lazy load plugin but unfortunately it’s not updated since many years. Disable lazy load solved the problem to use BJ lazy load plugin and exclude featured image from lazy loading.

ótimo plugin removedor do lixo Lazyload!

I used to add the snippet myself on each installation but now I found this I switched quickly all of the websites.
You are saving me time with your simple plugins Jeff.

My client has not yet added SSL to their site, so when I upgraded to WordPress 5.7 with default lazy loading, the srcset attribute got added to image tags with https protocols which broke the image links.
I installed the Disable Lazy Load plugin and the problem disappeared. We still need to add SSL to the site, but for now the images have come back.

I don’t know what WordPress was thinking by adding/enabling lazy load by default. It drives me insane with all of the problems it causes for me!! THANK GOODNESS for this plugin!
Easy to add and “configure”. Simply install and activate it on your WP installation and it works immediately. Thank you for a great and easy-to-implement solution! Keep up the good work!

This plugin works great. The site immediately changed back to how it was before the wordpress version change. The lazy load feature was a bit too slow on my site to load images. It might suit some sites but i prefer all images if they are on the screen to be visible immediately.

Thank you. This solves the problem perfectly.

I’d say add some more keywords to your plugin description as currently your plugin cannot be found through plugin search from within my WP install on the full plugin title. I had to add ‘jeff’ to the search query to get your plugin to show up. Maybe this 5 star review will help with that ??
This solves the problem that the Content Slider module from Ultimate Addons for Beaver Builder doesn’t show its images in the slider. The whole slider is there in code, but WPs stupid lazy loading blocks the entire slider from showing its contents.
