Hi
Will this plugin disable the default WordPress lazyload on background images eg hero images at the top of a page?
Thank you in advance for your help
Hi There

Hi,
I am setting up a new website, and I have been a fan of this plugin. But recently, this plugin has been giving me issues with certain other plugins.
So far from my findings, the contents of these plugins do not load if your plugin is activated:
I activated this plugin and used it to disable one image on my home page, which it did and worked fine.
I then noticed I can’t edit pages with beaver builder as when I click on beaver builder to edit a page it says currently editing media and the file name of the image I disabled lazy load on.
Wordpress current version: 6.0.2
This plugin works great for disabling lazy load but I had conflicts with my theme. My related posts were no longer related but random posts, and my pagination wasn’t working. I have not been able to find anything else to prevent my featured images from lazy loading. any adivice?
…hello. Thank you for writing this PlugIn. It appears to be the only one to allow disabling Lazy Load on a ‘per item’ basis. All other similar PlugIns do it on a site wide basis.
There is an issue I’ve found that occurs when using the Elementor Template or Theme Builder functionality.
If an image is used within an Elementor template that has utilized the ‘Disable Lazy Load’ checkbox of your plugin, it will insert successfully, the template will save successfully, but when attempting to reopen the template, this error message is displayed by Elementor: Sorry, the content area was not found in your page. You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page. It is documented here by Elementor: https://elementor.com/help/the-content-area-was-not-found-error/
This issue was found early June 2022, using WordPress 5.9.3 with an Astra Theme, latest version of Elementor Pro as of this date, Astra, etc., using version 1.0.3 of your plugin. It only produces errors within the Admin / back-end of WordPress and does not produce any errors on the public / user side of a website. It is not an issue with the theme. I verified it by disabling / unchecking / un-ticking the ‘disable lazy load’ for a media item and also disabling the entire plugin.
Sorry for not including anymore technical details or being able to include a link so you could see the error (because it’s on the admin side of WordPress). I don’t have the time right now to figure out how the code could be modified to fix the issue. But since I thought your plugin was a worth while effort, I thought I’d try and assist in improving it in a small way. Looking forward to an update for the plugin. Thanks again for making it.
Recently I Searching for a simple way to disable my blog’s featured image lazy loading which is causing “largest contentful image is lazily loading” in pagespeed insights. Fortunetly I found this plugin exactly doing the same thing. but it is not working with my current WordPress 5.9.1 version. please solve this issue.
Greetings,
For any Image that has Disable Lazy Load applied:
When I insert that image into a page, the whole page opens as an image attachment, with comments under the page contents.
Any thoughts on how to fix?
Many thanks!
currently i checkboxed
disable post thumbnails
and all my images are not lazy loaded
but in order to improve google page inisghts score, i want to disable just the wp-post-image
is that possible?
I installed the plugin because I use a counter pixel on each post.
Unfortunately I cannot see any effect. The “lazy” attribute is still there. Any idea?
See example from Web-Inpector:
