Hi, further to “where do I place the short code” thread, I tried to update it, but my browser wasn’t happy with it.

I guess if I state what I want to do, you can tell me if the plugin can do it, and if so, how to do it.

I have set up specific users to be able to post to specific categories only.
To make things as simple as possible, I want each category post to have a specific thumbnail that is always the same, so that they are visually easily identifiable.

Can I use your plugin so that I can set it up that whenever a post is made to a specific category, the plugin will automatically create an image for that category, that is always the same, and specified by me?

How can I automatically pull the Category ID of a post? I want the code to find what category the post is under, pull the ID and insert it so that I don’t have to manually enter the ID.

I can not find a plug in that will have multiple thumbnails in a grid format. Is there any way this plug-in can do that? I want to just have four or six images (two or three rows of two) in a widget. No titles, or excerpts or any of that nonsense.

I’d also like the hover text to say the post title, not the image title. But that might be a little much to ask.

Any chance of this happening in the near future with this plug-in?

Can this plugin be implemented by a Template Tag (php), rather than a ShortCode?
