Stripe requested to remove this extension, stating that the name violated their terms of service.
The plugin was being totally rewritten at that time and I realized I couldn’t support it anymore.
Hopefully, there are other options available in order to connect Stripe to WordPress.

Why was Direct Stripe removed from www.remarpro.com or “closed” on July 24, 2020? It says the closure is permanent. What happened? Is the plugin no longer safe to use?

I have used this plugin for quite a while now and love it! However, recently my website produces many JavaScript errors once the plugin is activated. Has anyone else experienced this?

How do I do that?

I’m trying to create a subscription button but the buffering wheel just spins. It’ll allow me to create a button but it never saves so as soon as I click away it disappears. I’ve searched the forum but can’t find anything similar that might help.

Can the direct stripe plugin collect just the name, email and then payment information?

Right now I’m forcing my customers to give me their entire billing information. Is it possible to allow just name and email + cc?

I am using the plug in so people can submit a payment to a subscription service using stripe. The issue that I am having is that even though I set up the “free trial period” to 5 days to the product (subscription) pricing plan, whenever I submit a test payment I see the invoice charge with the full amount instead of waiting for the free trial.

I’m looking for some tool to make inbuilt invoice system for client’s web site. After looking thorught speciefic invoice wp plugins I realized that they are not able to fit into current website’s page layout, so I switched to payment form plugins in my research.

I want to build invoice system myself with help of some cpt and custom fields.

I need a payment form plugin thich is able to:
– use single form for all posts but pass different price to pay value into form (based on custom field, so I need some hook or inbuild fuctionality for this)
– stripe payment system support + provide postal code for additional stripe validation

When I first installed the plugin the default stripe styles were in use and it was quite clean and simple.

Now, for some reason, the popup modal is incredible messy and has attempted to incorporate my brand colours into the webpage’s head tags.

If someone can direct me where I can reset the styles to Stripes default styles, that would be great.

I have 3 simple subscription buttons on my website.

When I load the page I get errors under each button. The forms are displayed in an incredibly messy format under each button (instead of being hidden) and they say “error” with no clarification as to what the “error” is.

It’s works but the user doesn’t know if its works or not. Because when he push the button to confirm the update card, there is a loader who display and nothing happend, no message just loader.
I disable the ajax redirection.

When I create DONATION type button, and enabled Zero-Decimal Currencies.

I used a shortcode to add the button to a page.

When I enter the amount in the box, I entered an amount WITH decimals (so I entered 1.50 USD).

When I click pay button, it goes to payment modal window without any error.

I fill out the entire payment form and click PAY NOW and it comes back as successful, but there is no record of transaction in the Direct Stripe Logs or in the Stripe Dashboard (I am using test keys for all this).

If I disabled the Zero-Decimal currencies and do same process, then the transaction does show up in in the Direct Stripe Logs and the Stripe Dashboard.

When I log into Stripe, I have a recurring subscription under products with ID of prod_abc123

I do not see any ID that starts with plan_abc123 and I do not see anyway to create it.

The “spinny loading” thing on the settings pages, never goes away.

It just keeps spinning on all the settings pages no matter how long I wait.

On the settings page under Button Settings > Edit Buttons > MyButton
when you go to edit a button, everything is in English except this one sentence:

Over the last couple of days a charity I work with has had vast number of fraudulent payment attempts submitted to Stripe via this plugin on their website.

The official Stripe documentation states that to minimise card testing fraud it is good practice to implement CAPTCHA on payment forms (https://stripe.com/docs/disputes/prevention/fraud-types). Would it be possible to add an option to do this on a future release?

It would also be good to have the option to capture the payer’s name (again for fraud prevention purposes).

I saw that in modal , now the plugin is asking for a postal code (at least when using test card from stripe).

Is there a way to disable it in Direct Stripe (or Stripe account), as i saw that it’s not a SCA requirement.

unfortunately, the direct stripe plugin has stopped working on our site….

It used to work – so if someone would like to join, after entering their details and pressing Submit, the Stripe overlay would show. However, now the area where the overlay is expected just fades – looking like it is expecting an overlay over the top.

We added the button originally by clicking the button to add the plugin, which generates the [direct-stripe value=….] code in the content.

To try and investigate the issue we have:
– disabled and re-enabled the plugin.
– switched to try to connect to the test interface, and back to Live (by setting API keys).
– confirmed we are on the latest version of the plugin (v 3.0.1)
– the website has got an SSL certificate.
– there is nothing on the browser saying any pop-ups have been blocked.

Any help to resolve would be greatly appreciated ??

Since we updated the plugin, billing information aren’t asked to customer when using shorcode attribute billing=”true”. It works with ds-button, but as the amount changes depending of a lot of params we can’t create hundreds of buttons and that’s why we were constructing the shortcodes dynamically in PHP..

Are shortcode now depracated ?

What should be the solution to generate buttons “on the fly” ?

First of all, thank you for a great plugin. However after updating the plugin the payment form does not autmatically translate into Swedish, as it did before. Now it stays in English. It doesn’t matter if I choose SV in the language options or if I leave it empty. I’ve tried clearing cache both on the website and in the browser. I’ve tried from different computers/IPs. I’ve tried uninstall and install the plugin. But the information still stay in English. How can I solve this?

Also, how can I change the font color of the form? I know that this code
.ds-element.in-form { background-color: #fff !important; } will change the background color, but how about the font color?
