]]>Hi!
Login as Developer is GREAT! – LOVE IT!
But some plugins don’t show up??
When I log in as Admin (below developer level) they show up?
Is there a FIX to make sure that ALL plugins also show up for Developer level – or it might become obsolete.
Please update this for version 4.0!

Can you help?
]]>Hi,
I have recently installed Woo Commerce in my client’s website and none of the Woo Commerce related pages (products, coupons, etc…) show in her dashboard, despite of these being unchecked in the Developer Mode Admin Menu (so that they are not hidden and she can access them). What can I do to fix this? Many thanks for your assistance.
Hi there
I’ve installed your plugin on a multisite.
After uninstalling it, all my other user roles have been deleted so i CANNOT ADD OTHER USERS LIKE ADMINISTRATORS.
I can only see the developer mode there right now even after it has been uninstalled…
Any suggestions?
]]>Hi
I don’t want to disable the Admin Bar entirely but I would like to remove some menu items from it.
At the moment the logged in User who is not a Developer can Add a New User from the Admin Bar and I don’t want them to.
I can achieve this in functions.php but it would be easier to implement it in your plugin.
Thanks
Colin
]]>Hi – Love this plugin – but I have discovered that even with the “Actively prevent developer user editing” checked ….
Administrators can change the role of Developers. So that if they change the role to anything else they can now edit or/and delete the Developer user. On the All Users screen there is a “Change role to….” Dropdown that allows Administrators to change the Role of a Developer user.
I am using the most up to date version of plugin and WP 3.6.1 on a brand new install of WordPress using the default theme 2013.
Could you please check this? Let me know if you need any more information.
thanks!
Just discovered Developer Mode and am very glad I did. I have installed it on two sites and both have the same problem:
The Admin bar is not hidden, even though I checked that option.
Many thanks,
Kip
I have installed and activated the plugin but the settings option is missing.
No separate settings tab for the plugin as indicated in the screenshots.
I checked inside “Settings” tab as well but it isn’t there either.
Please help.
Thanks
]]>Hello,
I love this plugin, great!! Plus it has the option to disable the options screen, and also the global option wordpress, please put these options in future updates, is going great. Thank you, congratulations. God bless you!
Hi – Love this plugin btw!
Is there any way to hide the Developer user’s from the users menu from Admins?
Hey Jasper. Starting a new thread. I’m using the most updated version. The issue came with this plugin
]]>Hi
an option to “check all” or “select all” in “Developer Mode: Admin Menu”. Would be very nice. I only want to allow one item, and checking all those boxes is not that fun ??
]]>Hi Jesper. Love the plugin. Very neat.
However it seems there is a major flaw here. I have 2 user accounts, 1 of which is a developer (me) and the other is an administrator (my client).
When I log in as administrator I am able to change the password on any developer account and also I am able to delete such accounts…
I do need for my client to be able to manage the users but I would assume that an administrator cannot touch the developer accounts…
Am I wrong?
]]>Nice plugin!
It would be cool if this plugin could also limit 1 admin user from editing or deleting another admin user. For example, if the developer maintains an admin account on the client site, the client is not able to change or delete the developer’s account.
Just an idea. Thanks!
]]>So far your plugin has been working great. But I recently tried installing some new plugins and they will not show for me when I’m logged in as the developer, but if I log in as the administrator I can see them. I deleted all the DM plugin files, then added my new plugin, then re-installed the developer mode plugin and that seemed to work…hopefully you can look at this if you get some time.
]]>Hi,
I am hoping I can get some assistance.
I installed the pluggin and activated it.
Instantley I was locked out of all functionality within.
I cannot access content wihtin Dashboard, Post, Settings etc…
I can see the menu options but that is all.
Under ‘Settings’ I canot see “Developer Mode” listed at all and therefore canot even update my own settingds to be a “Developer”
BTW: I am goign from memory re my wordpress version – hope I got it right.
Any advice on how to extract my self formthe “lockout”.
Any assitance would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I had a major melt down on my main site while using this, plus a few other plugins. I never determined the cause, but was just checking to make sure first..
Thank you, Love this plugin!
]]>“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
This error appears when I log in as Developer Mode only, if I log in as administrator there is no problem.
This is due to the permissions hierarchy in the database, is possible so to change this value to prevent this error with certain plugins
