Hi there!
I’m making some testing in my local machine with the sandbox mode of this gateway plugin which work perfectly if I do a normal purchase.
The issue I’m having is in the moment I try to make a partial payment (i.e. 50%) the gateway doesn’t work.
I check the admin panel log of this plugin and looks like they are not able to get the required data to make the transaction like name, last name, email and phone number, fields that are included in the checkout
Here’s an image of the log of some request.
How to replicate this in local?
The theme used for this was this year’s default WordPress theme: Twenty Twenty-Four
.
PHP version: 8.1.10
.
Deposit partial payments for WooCommerce plugin version: 1.1.24
.
Openpay cards plugin version: 2.9.7
.
WooCommerce version: 9.3.3
.
I have already created an issue with more details of the conflict in the GitHub repository of the plugin
Greetings!

]]>We are trying to use this plugin with a variable product. The process works as intended except that stock quantities are not reduced when using the deposit option on a variable product. Is there a way to enable this functionality?
]]>I need to add a supplementary fee to some items. What I can do is update the total in the background, but what I would prefer to do is feed this supplementary fee into the deposit plugin so that it can list it as part of the breakdown. So where we now have:
Item name (£X)
Deposit amount (£X)
Future Payment (£X)
I would add in my fee using $cart->add_fee() and then we would see:
Item name (£X)
Fee (£X)
Deposit amount (£X)
Future Payment (£X)
With the future payment being updated with the fee added.
Is there a nice way to do this, that would avoid me simply updating the price in the background using $product->set_price() ?
I’m using ‘woocommerce_cart_calculate_fees’, but this is not being factored into the total at the minute, so maybe this isn’t firing quickly enough?
I have three ‘blueprint’ products that I use as a base, which I then I add price and product name details depending on what the customer chooses. All this works fine. But I need to know how to hook in and override the default deposit amount, as this is also variable. I have set the default to 50 so that the deposit shows on the specific products, but I want to change this amount as soon as the item is added to the cart.

]]>Hello there,
Its a really nice plugin for what it offers, however there seems to be a bug or at least with our installation something is off. We have had it for a couple of months, when someone partially pays a deposit, then they come back in a few weeks to pay the remainder, the payment is declined by the processor.
Can someone here perhaps helps and if required, we can setup a stager site for you to check it out.
Thanks!

I would like to ask if there is any way to translate deposit part in email sent to the client? My emails are in Polish but deposit part is sent in English. I would like to have everything in Polish. Is there a way you could advice to me how to prepare it?

Hello,
I’ve made test payment and unfortunately the plugin doesn’t trigger the payment on our payment gateway. It goes straight to order details instead of payment gateway. Clicking on “pay amount” button on the order details page doesn’t work too. The rest payments (non-deposit) works fine. I am using Polish gateway called – Przelewy24 Payment Gateway. Is there any way you could help me with this matter?
Best regards,
Krzysztof

]]>Hi, thanks for the great plugin.
A client is using the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin (by WooCommerce) to process payments, with the Issue an authorization on checkout, and capture later option ticked/selected. With full payments, an authorisation is issued, and the payment is captured when the order status is changed to Processing. This is not working as expected with the Deposits & Partial Payments plugin – I suspect this is because there is no Processing status for the payments (only the order – but the order is not linked to the payment in Stripe, the payment is).
Am I doing it incorrectly? Please advise.

]]>Hello,
The personalized texts work perfectly, but there is a text that is not included in the list to be able to modify it, the text is “payable in deposit” that is shown in the price of the item in the cart and checkout.
It is possible that they include it so that it can be modified since it is the only text that is missing.
I wouldn’t want to modify it using translation chains.
Thank you.

Hi,
We’ve just been testing this plugin on a fresh Woo install with only this and WooCommerce installed.
We have these Woo tax settings applied:
We have setup a $100 product with a deposit of $10.00 fixed.
Product page:
Upon adding to cart, note the differences in future payments in the order line item and cart totals:
Then if we place the order we get this:
So a $10.00 deposit it getting taken for the first order, then $73.33 for the future payment order.
However the full total is $100.00, and they’ve only paid the $83.33, effectively the exc tax total…?
]]>Whenuser places an order and pays 25% deposit he receives 2 emails. One I think from Accowebs:
Thank you for your deposit
Your deposit has been received and your order is now being processed.

And shows partial payment #5144-1 and future payment #5144-2
And a second email
Thank you for your order
Hi Customer Name,
Just to let you know — we’ve received your order #5145, and it is now being processed: [Order #5145] (April 4, 2024)
Partial Payment for order 5144: 1,50?€
The order number should not be 5145 since it is a partial payment for 5144
Can we correct this?
Thank you
