We have had a couple of instances that when a customer attempts to pay their due balance, their payment fails for whatever reason. If they then leave the checkout and come back later to pay their due amount, the payment button does not display and the due payment sub-order status is failed.

This needs fixing as customers are wanting to come back and pay at a second attempt. Currently this requires manual action by an admin member to set the status of the sub-order back to pending-payment to make the payment button appear once again.

Can I use the Deposits & Partial Payments for WooCommerce plugin to take security deposits? I rent out bell tents and like to take a security deposit on top of the rental fee to cover for damages. If the tent is in good condition at the end of the rental period the security deposit is returned. If not it is retained in order to cover the costs of cleaning and repairs. Would your plugin be able to be configured for this purpose?

Hi, I work with the free version of the plugin, and I have an issue with calculation of the deposit. I want to give the option of 30% deposit and that is calculated correctly when listed in the product page. However, when the client goes to the cart the deposit number for payment has increased.

I tested that it calculates the amount on the tax free price and presents both the Deposit and Due payments to sum up to the price excluding tax. However, Tax is included in the price and instead of showing it from the beginning it increases the deposit amount to compensate for the tax during payment. This is very confusing. It goes away if I don’t enable taxes but I would like to avoid that. Is there a way to do this? I also attach a screenshot.

The objective is to see what possibilities there are of creating reservations for one of my products:

Payment of 10% now and when Tuawa (the administrator of the website) receives stock of the product in June the customer would pay the remaining price and the product would be shipped. The product is as follows: https://tuawa.es/product/tuawa-liberty/

The price of the product is 399 euros, the reservation import would be 39.90 euros and the import to be paid when the product reaches stock would be 359.10 euros.

Could I do this with WooCommerce?

Hi, since I updated to the latest version 1.2.12, the subtotals no longer calculate correctly on the cart page if I have more than 1 item. See screenshots:

You can see the difference, nothing else changes here apart from the plugin version. I have disabled all themes and plugins still the issue is there. For now I have rolled back to V1.2.11.

Can you replicate the issue if you add multiple deposit items of the same product?

Having a slight issue on variable products on the front-end. When using the drop-down to select a different product variation, once selected, it takes a second or 2 to update the page (prices etc).

It’s just enough time to make the user think nothing is happening.

Wondered if this was known behaviour?

Using on Storefront theme, but happens on other themes too. If I disable this plugin, the variation selection on the front-end is super quick (as expected).

I am using the free version of Bayna for booking/deposits on art courses. I am searching for a good invoice plugin that can display the deposits and other (possibly off-line) payments for an order. It would display like : total to pay / 1rst payment by CC amount / 2nd payment by check amount / total paid / rest to pay. The ones I tested either : 1/ignore entirely any payment and only show the order total, 2/ don’t display off-line payments hence showing wrong totals. Thanks for your help,

I create the payment plans and they won’t show in the checkout page or the account page.

Hi I have created with another plugin a coupon code to provide discount of 15%, on the checkout page the discount shows but is not reflected on the first or second deposit.

If I complete the order the discount is applied on the second deposit, but still the customer is not able to see that on the checkout page which could mislead to think there is no discount applied.

Is there any set up I need to update? I have the pro version.
