Hi, Stephanie!
Is it possible the Delicious API is down? I have been using my login credentials at that URL …

… but access is denied.

]]>Hi!
First of all, fantastic solution for the whole Delicious situation. Thanks for writing this plugin.
I have had migrated my delicious bookmarks to google bookmarks at the time, since it supported tags and all my bookmarks were imported succesfully without trouble.
However, when I tried your plugin I stumbled upon 2 problems:
1- I get a huge list of errors while importing, starting like this:
Importing Dive Into HTML5…Done!
Importing 20 Free and Useful Adobe Illustrator Scripts | Vectortuts …Done!
Importing wundes.com…Done!
Importing ManualsLib – Makes it easy to find manuals online!…Done!
Importing 展開図ダウンロード – Jun Mitani…
Warning: seems_utf8() [function.seems-utf8]: Cannot add element description number 1 when only 0 such elements exist in /xxx/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 351
Done!
Importing Ui Parade – User Interface Design Inspiration…
Warning: seems_utf8() [function.seems-utf8]: Cannot add element description number 1 when only 0 such elements exist in /xxx/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 342
Warning: seems_utf8() [function.seems-utf8]: Cannot add element description number 2 when only 0 such elements exist in /xxx/wp-includes/formatting.php on line 342
and so on. I have about 2000 bookmarks, and around 2/3 of them yeld these errors. Apparently, though, the bookmarks were imported successfully…
2- It’s not showing the links. I’m not even sure if it’s being stored on the database. I imported the bookmarks as posts.
3- I also had trouble with the delicious api exporter. Couldn’t find out how to use the fromdt
parameter (your link is apparently dead)

]]>At first I like to say that this pluginm is very great, but I have a little problem with it:
Delicious has only the possibility to download all links as xml. So if I have new links in delicious and export them as xml, I will export also all links again (also this one which i have exported allready!)
If I use “XML importer” to import the links as WP posts no duplicat posts will be created.
But if i use the functionality to import into the links into the blogroll, than I have all links twice as duplicat links.
Do you have a solution to fix this problem?
Thank you and regards

Just wanted to commend the author of the Delicious XML Importer on a job well done:

Simple, useful plugin to help you start hosting your own bookmarks.
One feature request I’d make is the ability to select a single target category (when importing as posts and keeping delicious tags as WordPress tags). I hardcoded a post_category in mine, but it might be a handy user option during import.
Great plugin… thank you.
]]>Not working for me. I’m using Google Chrome and my access to the xml file is denied. Not sure why. I can see all my bookmarks on the site itself and have the HTML file for them just fine.
