I’ve been looking around and doing some testing and I feel like this is the best PDF viewer plugin for WordPress available today. The user interface is nice and clean and it seems to have all of the options that one might need. I’ve decided to purchase a lifetime license of the Pro version!

you can’t zoom in/out the pdfs with fingers on mobiles, so it could become really difficult to read texts with small letters.

I volunteer with a small community theater and we’ve switched to digital playbills over the past couple of years. Being able to put a flippable PDF of the program on the web page for the production is a really nice touch. Very easy to use and a great looking result.

I searched high and low for a plugin that could embed documents without allowing users to download or print but also looks good. In addition the free version allows you to add the flipbook animation which is a brilliant bonus. Really happy with this plugin and will always recommend!

Awesome plugin and it works great!

The only negative is that you cant disable the PDF page viewer if you dont want it, for example if you upload a pdf to your server you cant just open it in new tab to read it with browser viewer or download it, you have to open it with the plugin reader and its not that great in mobile view, in general i would like to see the option to disable this default reader

I spent many days looking for a suitable PDF Viewer plugin, and finally I can boldly say that DEAR PDF offers features that are not available in other plugins and this plugin is a very desirable option in terms of beauty, speed and simplicity.

Let me make a few points:

– In most existing plugins, the link to the original file is displayed but there is no problem with this plugin.

– The file is partially loaded and the user does not have to download it all first, this helps to increase the speed and improve the user experience.

– In addition to the Shortcode for displaying documents in tabs and posts, the designers have provided other Shortcode for providing a button for reading and can be used in tables or lists.

I hope this plugin continues in the same way, and if so, I think it is one of the best options available.`

Great software but cannot use it. Many PDFs I share have URLs within it that should be clickable. The plugin disables the ability to click on text with links. Would definitely use if it had that feature. Very clean look and easy to use.
