hi Andrew!
in reference to the suggestion from ChrisL I’d also like to emphasize an option to enable the to-do-list for every user role. as for my use case, it is not enough to show it to the admin and editors. please note that I also created a custom user role (via user role editor plugin), so the best solution would be to have a multi-select-list of all user roles and one “all user roles” option. it would be fantastic if you could implement this setting! keep up the good work ??
greetings
Diana
]]>I am looking for a plugin to remind my clients of the outstanding tasks they need to do, particularly with regards to website content. That plugin should be usable both before and after the site has gone live.
This plugin is close, but no cigar.
Firstly, my clients are typically assigned Editor roles. This plugin does not appear to provide the ability to choose which roles (or users) can see the To-Do list and where. By default, ALL role appears to be able to view and edit the To-Do list on the dashboard (even subscribers) but not view it on the front-end. I would need more granular control of who sees the list.
For future development, I’d also suggest the option of automated weekly reminder emails to designated users, with an unsubscribe link in the email. Naturally, if the To-Do list is empty, those emails would not go out.
Perhaps a settings page could be created with a list of existing non-administrators with three checkboxes:
(all unchecked by default)
Otherwise, it’s a great start!

Hi. I like your plugin. It’s very useful for maintaining a punch list for when I’m creating a site. The one thing I wish it had was an easier way of modifying the font color, perhaps a single setting in the dashboard widget? Something easier than modifying the #ardtdw-sitewidget .ardtdw-sitewidget-list css.
Thanks!
]]>Hi
sometimes, when i enter the dashboard on my site, the plugin is not shown. It is appening 10% of times more or less and i need to reload the page. do you know why this happening and how to solve?
Good idea but the experience is very bad. The frontend option is bulky, unresponsive and not collapsible, and the backend widget simply does not feel right. This can be so much better that its currents state.

An apostrophe adds three slashes when saving the note and html doesn’t work.
What exactly can and cannot be typed into this To-Do-List meta box?
