When I enable “Absolute Switch Position,” and set the switch to be in the upper-right or upper-left corners, it “greys out” the switch and deactivates it (so it can’t be switched).

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:

1. This happens ONLY when the below factors are met:
   • Absolute Switch Position is enabled
   • AND the switch is set to appear in the top-right or top-left
   • And you are viewing on a desktop
2. If Absolute Switch Position is disabled, the switch operates as expected
3. If the switch is set to appear in the bottom-right or bottom-left corners, the switch operates as expected (whether it is set to absolute position or not)
4. If the website is viewed on a mobile phone (instead of desktop), the switch operates as expected (regardless of where the switch is set to appear, and whether it is in the top or bottom)

I very much want to have my switch appear in the top-right corner in ABSOLUTE POSITION (so that it moves when the screen is scrolled).

Why am I not able to do this?

Hi, thanks for the lightweight plugin. On my DJ-site it’s working fine. Unfortunately at my other website not useable: https://www.wohnungsaufloesungen-franken.de/ The hamburger menu button is not visible, black not turning into white. The click to call button black (mobile). Any advice?

Other than that everything seems to be well working.

Hello, is there a way to fix the white flashing issue when using DarkMySite? This white flashing issue is very annoying and appears whenever a page is refreshed or loaded, which means all the time when navigating the site.

thanks for a great plugin.

I ran into 2 problems:

1. When you turn on the black screen, when the user navigates to a new page – he first sees a “flash” of the usual light version for a fraction of a second. And only then the dark mode is connected.

I disabled the plugins, but for some reason the result persists…

3. Question: How does this plugin work with caching? I use Fasted Cache + Pro. What version will the user see?

Is the free version still being updated with new features.

(EDIT: I am enabling the plug in again now so I am able to try to get help for this)

I have used this plug in for quite some time now but have had to disable it due to slow loading. I have found it is this plug in because when I switch off the plug in or use a different dark plug in it doesn’t seem to have the loading issue.

I prefer this plug in to other ones and just bought the pro version hoping that would help but that doesn’t seem to have which is okay but am wondering if there is some way I can get this to work without the loading issue.

NOTE: This is on all pages/posts not just one. This page is a good example of the loading issue https://kyberscorner.com/destiny2/lost-sectors/ (specifically see how long the tables take to load. these tables load much faster when I have tried disabling this plug in).

I notice one major problem when switching my website to dark mode: The SVG icons in the navigation (like the social icons in the footer or the Hamburger and Close icon in the mobile menu) keep the original dark color on a dark background.

This makes them invisible and unusable. Especially on mobile — using the mobile menu, this is a problem that makes normal use of the website quite impossible.

Can you advise how to achieve inversion of these icons as well?

I am using the Twenty Twenty template, in the plugin settings I have enabled inline SVG icon inversion and the SVG icons in the navigation should be inline.

Hi, the page I need help with is the reading mode the problem. So with switch this switches to a very simplified display. Now with dark mode there is the problem that the reading mode is not displayed correctly in dark mode. To TEST: The read mode switch is the header on the right. Greetings and thanks

This is the best dark mode plugin, but option Hide Dark Mode Switch on Mobile doesn’t work. After switch on, Dark Mode Switch still is available on the mobile devices. Of course, I purged cache and deleted cookies.

Please help ??
