We purchased the Pro version, and it won’t activate. We sent the developer 2 emails, and there wasn’t a response. There isn’t any 30 day free support nor a guarantee. Looks like we’re out the money that we paid for a useless plugin.

The free version I give 4 stars. The paid version I give no stars. I bought the pro version and it has fewer features rather than more features and it has giant graphic images of gears throughout it. I have contacted the author and am awaiting a reply. Meanwhile I am behind on my project. Wish I had chosen a better product for purchase.

All of a sudden no images can be added to new slideshows in pro version. clicking “show image” opens a another new slideshow. crazy. requested support twice. no answer. waste of money. (no prob with WP 4.8; didn’t work with prevoius either.)

I’ve been really happy with this plugin. I installed it well over a year ago and although there was a little glitch with it recently, it was resolved very quickly. Of the many free slider plugins I’ve tried, this is by far the best!

Since the last version, the developer added an “updgrade to pro” link to the post submit box in the backend.
I really can understand that developers who release their plugin in a free version experience problems with selling the premium, paid one. Also, I often buy premium versions of plugins if I really like the features or to support the developer.
But this politic of adding annoying upgrade links in our backend is unacceptable.
Especially when you add those links to places such as pages, posts, media, etc. What the hell?
Besides, not selling your product is your problem and not ours. If you want us to buy your premium version, improve it instead of littering our site with ads.
Sorry about the one star and the rant, but you developers have to stop this.

As soon as I activated this plugin, it took down my entire site. I couldn’t access the admin panel or the main site.
The fix was to delete the plugin files.
Do not touch this plugin until it is fixed.

This plugin is a real shame really. It’ design is so easy to implement on your site and I have used it for several months. My text and graphics display beautifully, it’s exactly what I was looking for.
Unfortunately, yesterday I noted only 8 slides were cycling out of 13. Then today it was 6. Using the IE browser instead of Firefox it was 5 and this evening only 2 out of 13 are displaying.
Therefore I checked the worpress forum and could not see my problem there. There was no point leaving a message as it seems the forum is completely deserted of support.
One review states it may be due to their wordpress version update but I still have 4.1.7 and everything was okay until yesterday.
Anyway, my point is that it’s a real shame because I have 9 instances of this slider on my site and now it’s just stopped working and all I can do is search for another plugin and transfer the data to that.
What a real shame such a great plugin is not supported.

I bought the pro version, because I like the software and find it very useful for my website. But you cannot upgrade the software because a license ID and key is needed. The developer doesn’t deliver that and does not reply my mails. So soon I will uninstall the software because it is a security risk, and ask Paypal to get my money back.

I have noticed that is seems to have been about 3-4 months prior to this post in May 2015 since the plugin author has replied to any questions on the forum. A very large number of posts appear to be unresolved. Not really the kind of author interaction that I trust in a plugin. I think I will find one that has better communication from the author.
I am assuming that this is probably due to a “Pro” version. I am the type of person who buys pro versions for my company, BUT only after I see that customer service is not sub par.

Have just purchased Cyclone slider 2 pro. I went to settings where the lightbox and easing boxes are now checked, are but it also now asks me for a ID and Key. These are supposed to be accessible from the client area on https://www.codefleet.net who supply Cyclone slider software.
When I go to this area: https://support.codefleet.net/client/login/ I type in my username and password which works on other parts of the codefleet.net site, but in this instance it says
“oops, incorrect email or password”
It’s not incorrect at all. I’ve checked, double, triple, and more.
When I try and install any updates to cyclone slider 2 pro it says ‘download failed. Forbidden’
Anyone else having these troubles? Any experience of this type of thing before? Please let me know. I’ve paid over ￡23 for the pro extension but can’t use it properly because of poor delivery of plugin and failed updates.
Any help at all will be very welcome

Love the responsive functionality, very versatile, easy to integrate (with shortcodes or php snippets), plus the various things it can be used for. Have utilised in numerous WordPress website builds to date.
Only didn’t give 5 stars as we couldn’t get the custom template functionality working as per instructions on the main website. Perhaps we have done something wrong, but it just wouldn’t work. Would love to get this figured out if possible for future usage. Or is it only available on a premium version of the plugin? Would also like the option to customise its look a little more (ie, different styled arrows, colours, etc), but again this may be part of premium version.
Also, is there any way to solve the height issue when using the ‘Testimonials’ option. On a responsive layout. It should be an auto or flexi height to fit the content properly when the page responds to different sizes.

You should replace the call to public function render_page() by public function render_page($post) in WpAdminSubPage.php class.

It works ok if you just need basic slider options… But once your needs get more exotic, this slider fails to deliver what it promises. I chose this slider specifically because it has youtube and custom html capabilities.
The youtube video slide is nearly useless though as it just grows as big as its container. We just want the original youtube video size, as it being as huge as it is just…. doesn’t fit.
Secondly, the custom HTML functionality works… as long as you dont need styles. They get removed at random. I don’t understand why. If it somehow breaks the slider, we, as designers/developers will find a way around it. Why is html and styling removed at random?
Plus it doesn’t allow iframes either(tried to embed youtube video that way).
I am really discouraged from opening a forum support thread about these things because I saw they have already been addressed with no response from the developer.
