Thanks for the awesome plugin, it saved me some hours.
I encountered a small problem that you can reproduce with the theme called Hestia, this theme doesn’t appear to have the value “Template” at the beginning of its styles.css so moving the configs to a child theme didn’t work.
I simply removed the lines around 300 in :
customizer-export-import/classes/class-cei-core.php

It wasn’t working out of the box for me the first 4 attempts. So, I took a look at the parent’s export.dat file and noticed like 7 empty spaces at the top of the file. So I deleted them and tried again and what do you know it worked…

Occasionally it happens that you change your theme or forget the child theme and have already set everything in the Customizer.
With Customizer Export/Import you can quickly export the settings in the Customizer before a theme change and import them again after the theme change.
Works fine if the theme was also built properly. Works with all premium themes from MadrasThemes, so I can highly recommend both in combination.

It worked perfect! I started on a new enterprise and had to create a child theme moving all the modifications they made.
Install, export, import and it was done! all the customization migrated perfectly!

This is such a time saver and beautifully simple. If ever you realise you should have installed a child theme (or need to temporarily or otherwise change back), after spending ages customising fonts and layouts, this works perfectly every time. I have used it with various themes and with Elementor and Elementor Pro installed and it’s fine. Just hit the export button, save the file, change to the child theme and hit the import button to find the file on your computer and upload the file. Hey presto! Your site looks exactly the same and you can check everything before hitting publish. Thanks guys!

This is a wonderfully helpful plugin. I recently switched themes on a large ecommerce site, and was able to do the job within a few hours (late at night!) thanks to this plugin. It can be deleted after use.

This is a great plugin and great effort by the developers. Just would like to bring to their attention a particular issue i had. I was using a theme on wp installed on my laptop (localhost) and through customizer i setup the header styles, colors, logo files etc. However when i migrated the site online and tried to use this plugin to import the theme customizer settings (exported from localhost), it didnt change the logo file paths from local to online server. Hence the theme broke online. Would be great if file paths are also updated when doing an import of the .dat file. Thanks.
