It still works!
Cool plugin because you can add custom links too.

Still have to figure out a better sounding title for “Meta” in our local language, but anyway, it gives me the possibility to change it!
Still works, even on 4.4!

Still works … after all these years!
THANK YOU!

Thank you for making this plugin! Love it.
I disabled toolbar for subscribers, and I didn’t want to put a logout link on the menu; as a result, I want to put a logout link on sidebar; however the default Meta widget contains some unnecessary (annoying) links. I want to do some simple modification and get rid of everything but the log out link. This plugin does that really well. All I need to do, is to open the plugin’s source code, and add some block comments.
The only thing that makes me hesitate about giving a five star, is the description on the website. The description says “Customize meta widget without modifying of any source code”. However that’s exactly the opposite…. The only thing I can do with this plugin is to edit its source code — not complaining about editing source code, but I do complain about the misleading description. Some users might install this, expect to not touch any source code, and find some GUI in dashboard for this plugin. They might get frustrated, especially if they don’t know programming at all.
Anyway, great plugin. I spent more time writing this review than getting the plugin itself to work.

Using the latest version of WordPress (this week, anyway) this plugin works exactly as indicated with my child themes as well.
Thanks very much!

The big thing I wanted was to add links for some of my user interface items to Meta. It was really easy, took me about 15 minutes to do the majority of it.
The only thing I would like to see added or clarified is changing the name from ‘Meta’ to something else, but figuring that out was about 5 more minutes and two attempts, so hardly REAL difficult.
Thanks!

Just installed this on a new 3.5.1 WP installation. Works great. Be aware that upon first activating, it removes the active Meta box from your widget list. You need to drag the Meta widget back to the sidebar location. And poof! The link to www.remarpro.com is gone.

We used it to add links to the ‘Meta’ widget. No problems.
