Buen día, necesito de su ayuda, tengo una página en wordpress y tengo instalados pocos plugins incluyendo en WP CUSTOMER AREA, este estuvo funcionando muy bien pero de pronto se bloqueo la pagina y me sale ERROR CRITICO… lo q me llevo a cambiar por FTP los nombres del plugin para ver cual esta causando conflicto y solo pasa con el customer area … ya he revisado todo pero cuando lo vuelvo a activar normal, se vuelve a bloquear la pagina .. neceisto de su ayuda para poder solucionarlo y q el plugin es muy bueno y lo requiero en verdad… agradezco su apoyo.

Hi, since uknown time, I have some issue with horizontal WPCA menu under Dashboard – links to My Pages, My Files are not working – when I hover it, there is no url … Only for Dashboard. When hovering, there is only chnage with # in the end of url ->

When I add the menu items to main navigation menu, it works fine.

I dont know it this is issue due incompatibility with other plugins, or with WP core (6.6.1, PHP 7.4.33)
I reset Menu and Pages as well, but no change.

Is it possible to reinstall plugin without loss of data?

I installed today this very useful plugin. It works all perfectly, but when I try to attach more than one document in the file upload, the plugin says: “myfile.pdf – You are not allowed to attach more than 1 file”.

I searched in the settings but I cannot solve it.

After recent updates of PHP to 8.3 and WP to 6.6.1 I am constantly getting PHP compatibiliy error that is being recorder in error log:

PHP Deprecated: Creation of dynamic property CUAR_NotificationsAdminInterface::$no_addon is deprecated in /home/tahoce47/public_html/wp-content/plugins/customer-area-notifications/src/php/helpers/notifications-admin-interface.class.php on line 22

Why would this be? Is plugin not compatible with the PHP 8.3 or something else? Any suggestions?

How i create a new file or page for more than one ou all users subscribers?

When I am in the customer panel and download the assigned files, each of them is damaged. It doesn’t matter whether it is a .pdf, .txt or other type of file. When I try to open it, I receive a notification that the program could not open the file because the format is not supported or the file was damaged. Tested on various computers and online viewers.

Any solutions?

I’m thinking of using the wp-customer-area plugin to set up an intranet for my client.
But I’m worried about the notice “This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress”

Is this plugin still working and maintained by its developers?

I also wanted to ask if this plugin is compatible with installations that run on PHP 8.2 or 8.3.

Almost 2 years on and my previous post (closed) is still an issue that others must be facing.

The line numbers in question are now 944,945 and 948

There seems to be a conflict with caching plugins, I think this might relate to gzip compression.

PDF files are “corrupted” on download, but if you change the file extension to .pdf.gzip and open them with 7Zip the PDF file inside is viewable.

I specifically use Litespeed plugin as I have a Litespeed server, but I think the issue will be similar for others such as WP Rocket and Total Cache since they all force gzip compression.

For me commenting out these lines made everything play nice together

Avez-vous une roadmap de prévu concernant le fait de tester votre plugin avec wp6.3, 6.4, 6.5 ?

Hi, after desactivated the plugin, i got a error 404 everywhere. But, if i change the permalink, it’s OK. But i would like to use website.com/page no website.com/?p-2547

It’s a multisite installation. Using Litespeed server and plugin.

I have a regular log-out page created during plugin set up.

I wanted to edit some properties of this page but I can’t because as soon as I hit edit, the logout action fires up.

Block editor is on if that matters.

i have installed your plugin in our new website in construction, but no upload button appears in frontend as client or administrator.

In user side dont appear also the backend menù to upload, we use Flatsome theme, WordPress and woocommerce are the latest version.

Hola, estoy intentando configurar las opciones del plugin pero cuando voy a guardar los ajustes de: “Capacidades”, “páginas privadas” y “archivos”, me muestra un error: “Error: La página de opciones de cuar_options_cuar_capabilities no está en la lista de opciones permitidas.”

I don’t have an ‘Edit’ button next to the permalink for both ‘pages’ and ‘files’. This would normally be at the end of the permalink, next to the ‘Get Shortlink’ button in the backend editor. I have to delete page / file if I need to change the URL. Doesn’t seem to be a theme issue. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello, I’d like to know if the plugin is compatible with external file storage system like Amazon S3.

We are using S3-Uploads plugin (by HumanMade) to manage uploads on S3. This plugin uses WP filters to replace the standard uploads folder with a folder hosted on S3.

Theoretically, if Customer Area uses standard WP filters and functions to managa private files there could be a good chance of compatibility.

Please can you confirm if Customer Area support such kind of service?

I need to create a survey that is private to each customer using formidable forms. Can I install / configure formidable forms inside each WP customer area? Or is there a way to install it once on the entire site and then build the form so that each customer can only see their results?
