Option is not working:
“If I have not selected related products: Don’t show any related products”
It keeps showing related products instead of show nothing.
Thanks!
?Es posible configurar el plugin para salgan automáticamente productos relacionados de la misma categoría?

Hi,
I currently use Custom Related Products for WooCommerce but WordFence is reporting it as abandoned. If I move to your plugin, is there a way to do a batch export/import?
Thanks!
]]>Both the official WordPress repository and Wordfence flag the plugin as abandoned due to it last being updated over two years ago (the 9th of April 2017).
I’ll email the plugin author (Scott Nellé) and ask if this is still an active project…
]]>I have selected a product category to show, but its still pulling random products. Its showing the same whether I have the plug in activated or not. Any ideas would be really appreciated. I marked several hundred products.
]]>We love this plug in as it make life easier. We have however noticed something that would be a nice to have.
In configuring some products on a few sites, we can use this plug in to set related products – what we can’t do is to export all the products ( you can but not what we want ) What we’d like is to be able to export all the Woocommerce listed products, AND the products we have set to be related in a spreadheet / CSV
Is this a possible enhancement?
I would help in the analysis of certain products and any related ones we’ve set, we might be able to relate more easily/logically groups or single products in a more efficient way.
McP.
Is it possible to make the products chosen to appear in a specific order?
]]>I’m trying to upload a csv with over 3000 products to a cart. It looks like your plugin adds the column field meta:_related_ids
Is there a way to import the related items with the sku instead?
I have a requirement to show the “active” product also in the related products section. Is there any way to do this?
I would be willing to pay for a solution/hint, on how to achieve this.
]]>when i add a related product (vi the plugin) in most cases i dontsee them on the actual single product page.
If i add 3 related products i can see ony one of them.
this happened since my last wordpress pdate

However the product variations didn’t show on the related products area
I fixed this by adjusting line 58 of /woocommerce-custom-related-products.php

Can you update the core plugin to do likewise
Thanks for the great plugin
]]>When i add a custom related product that is not in the same categorie it wont show the related product in the single product page.
It does work with products in the same categorie.
Is this a common problem?
]]>At some point, this plugin stopped working some months ago. I just tried to edit this product and although I see the field “Custom Related Products” nothing I type in the box results in a search result, nothing at all. The product shows random products, not anything I would choose.
Also, there is no option to configure the plugin under WooCommerce as the docs state.
Please advise.
]]>Hi in the linked page I can show the needed related procucts but their names are hidden (only the prove is shown).
Any hint I can use?
While I edit one product and add related products the browser (google chrome) goes on top and the product is not saved.
Can you help me please?

]]>Hi I installed this plugin, it seems working but there is an issue. From WooCommerce->Custom Related Product, I chose don’t show any related products but still its showing related products, if I manually go to each product and update it, then only it works, I have thousands of product, I can not manually update one by one, is there any solution for this?
Thank you
]]>Hi, i have install the plugin in my site, however i unable to type anything in related products. Please advice.
]]>Hello!
A very nice feature would be a possibility of choosing how many related products can be shown at max. It only shows 4 at max now. Since my shop depends on cross-sells which should be shown below a certain product and I haven’t figured out a viable solution just yet to do so, I misuse this plugin for showing cross sells, rather than showing related products. This might even be an opportunity for a paid plugin which does just that, I haven’t found a single one that could do that.
]]>I’d love to see this pull from the “Primary” category/subcategory that you can select in the product edit screen with certain plugins (Yoast in my case). Is that possible?
]]>Hi, I’ve installed the plug in but I’m not able to type in any text in the related products box. Could you please help me with the problem? thanks
]]>Is this plugin not standard in woocommerce?
I see it in my backend, without this plugin.
]]>Hi Scott
Do you have or will you have a pro version of this plugin? One with preferably priority support? We would be interested.
]]>First off, this plugin is fantastic. I don’t know how default Woocommerce picks related products but for my site they are usually not related at all.
So, a BIG thank you for creating and maintaining this! You Rock ??
After updating to the latest version, I noticed the plugin no longer underlines the search words. I have many products so it sure helped to spot results that matched my search words.
Any chance of getting that feature back? When you get the time?
Also, didn’t the ones you picked get taken out of future searches? Or now they are highlighted.
Again, thank you for the plugin.
]]>Hi,
Is it possible to show only Custom Related Products? That is not show any regular related products from the same category. Strictly show custom related products. If no products were specifically selected in that case no related product would show at all. Would this be possible?
Thank you!
]]>Hello,
After the WooCommerce 3.0 update (and after updating the database) we ran into a few issues. We were displaying custom related posts in the order selected in the admin panel. Now the custom related products display in random order.
Is there a way to sort products by the order they appear on the backend? I honestly can’t recall if this was done with the plugin or some other plugin or code that is now not working.
I see this was requested as a feature in the past.
Thanks. – Peter
]]>Hello,
We have updated to the latest version of the plugin and it’s not working properly. The related products section isn’t displaying the linked products that we specified. And is actually displaying random products even though we selected “Don’t show any related products” in the plugin settings.
We are running on WooCommerce 3.0 and we’re using child theme of Genesis called Jessica.
]]>Hi,
When I upgrade woocommerce to 3.0 release, custom related plugin stop working. Can anyone guide me how can I resolve this issue ?
]]>I really like your plugin, it’s so easy to use. My problem is that when I’m exporting my products using the plugin Product CSV Import Export (BASIC), the Related Products do not get posted in the export file. Is there a way that I can get these to export? or how can I manually adapt these Related Products in my CSV file?
]]>I have some listings that have one or two related products that I want to ALWAYS appear in the related product area. But it would be nice to make those static (always appearing in the first slot(s)) and then fill the rest of the slots for related products with random items from the same category, or better yet from a string of specific tags that could be entered into a field. Is that possible?
