memory_limit=256M
but its not working for some reason:

I find your plugin well handy, but it would be nice it doesn’t mess up with comments at all.
if I put a line in comment ( tried with # and ; )
# opcache.enable=0
it deletes it !!
with this error
#opcache.enable is not a valid setting.
please do us a favor, don’t alter in any way the input text… just don’t by default.
Perhaps a better approche could be to not update the .user.ini file if you see an error. (leaving an option to force update perhaps?)
And if you want to offer formatting, I would prefer a button to do it on demand and not forced on each save (it’s probably easier to this in a simple js)

I am desperately trying to change the WordPress setting for Memory Limit. I need to change this from 40m to 64m but cannot for the life of me figure out how to change this as changing the memory limit appears to be changing the variables, could someone maybe help?

I installed the plug-in and went to the tab to add settings to increase values for file upload, I hadn’t actually added anything to that tab yet and had to close out to go work on something else. The site is locked out, and I can’t get to the plugins to disable the plugin. I also can’t get to my back-up/restore to restore the back up that I made before adding the plug-in. I saw in some other responses that you said to delete everything in the .htaccess file between the # CUSTOM PHP SETTINGS lines, but I have the .htaccess file open and that isn’t in there. So, I’m stuck and not sure which way to go now.

]]>My sites are with GoDaddy’s Managed WordPress (Ultimate) hosting package. I used to be able to upload PDFs around 30 – 50 mb but the other day I couldn’t upload a 16 mb PDF. GoDaddy support said there’s now an upload timeout of just 1 minute, even though they say you can upload files up to 100 mb. I don’t have superfast broadband, it’s OK but not superfast. I downloaded your plugin to try to get around the problem by changing the PHP settings but nothing seems to work and it’s still not betting past roughly 25% of the upload before timing out. Is there anything you can suggest that solves this issue? Thanks

I had installed the plugin, thinking it might be able to help with php settings, (where I was having trouble uploading another plugin), but it didn’t. Now I want to uninstall it, and all it does is says “Deleting … ” (in red), but ultimately, isn’t deleted.
