Since I upgraded to 4.4.2 I have been unable to figure out why password emails are not being sent out after user registration. I tried switching this plugin off from it’s settings page but no difference. It was only when I deactivated it from the wordpress plugins page that suddenly my emails started going out again!
This is likely due to changes in the wp_new_user_notification functionality…
Phew – I would rather have an ugly registration page than no new users!
