Hi
i’m using the plugin to add twitter new logo as it not updated in elemntor but after uploading the Fontello zip file its only showing on the admin side but not for visitors i cashed the website but it’s still not sowing
Hi,
Thanks for create awesome plugin.
I’ve tried uploaded the .zip file from Icomoon but for some reasons, it only works for the first icon. For the 2nd icon, it shows “Seems Font Icon with the same name is already exist! Please upload the Font Icon with different name” even though the icon name is differenet.
Looking at the source code, I noticed that no matter what the zip file uploaded, it always has “Icomoon” as id (CustomIcons.php:186), which makes any attempt to upload 2nd zip file fruitless.
Can you please check?
Thanks,
Quy
]]>The plugin page for this plugin identifies it as possibly abandoned, and Wordfence scans also just flagged it as abandoned. It is still working fine on my client’s site (and thank you for it, it made installing purchased 3rd party plugins icons so much easier), but I am concerned that it is not being monitored for security vulnerabilities, in which case I will need to ask the client for time to remove it and rebuild the page it supports. What are the developer’s future plans for this plugin?

]]>Has anyone else noticed recently that simply installing and activating this plugin causes major server resource consumption?
I read in a couple of older messages about this, although those messages did not reference which version of the plugin was being used. I also read where the developer said that the plugin is generally not doing anything unless specific actions are happening; however, that has unfortunately not been my experience.

]]>Hello, I followed the instructions to create a custom icon using Fontello. The SVG shows up correctly in Fontello and the custom icon set uploaded correctly in Elementor-Custom Icons and is visible in the Edit view in the WP dashboard.
But it is not visible or searchable in the Library when I try to add it to a page.
Any ideas about what is not working?
Thanks in advance.

]]>Hi All ??
I’m trying to upload a custom TikTok social icon into Elementor, but every time I upload the ZIP file it shows up blank?
I downloaded the TikTok icon from https://www.simpleicons.org, then uploaded it into Fontello where I was able to download it as an icon pack ZIP file. Without opening the ZIP file, I can successfully upload it into the “Custom Icons” tab of Elementor, but the end result is completely blank.
Has anyone else had this issue? Would love to get this resolved quickly.
Thanks,

Hello, I get this message:
“Failed to open the ZIP archive. If you uploaded a valid Fontello ZIP file, your host may be blocking this PHP function. Please get in touch with them.”
Of course I’m uploading a fontello zip file -already tried out in my localhost and it works. So I guess is this blocking php function from my host. But can you please be more specific on what php function I need to tell my host support to deal with? I don’t have a clue about that…
Thanks!
]]>Hello there.
I was wondering if anyone could instruct or give me guidance in doing something particular in my website : adding social media icons within an already existing header bar, to make it look like the very top of this webpage :
You see the blue header bar there on the top-most part? With the Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram social media icons on the left-most side, and the phone icon before the phone number, followed by the ‘map pin’ / location icon next to the address on the right-most side?
I just would like to know how I could do that in my own website… If anyone could let me know how, that would be absolutely fantastic!
Thanks very much in advance!

Hi,
I am trying to upload icons from different webs to elementor, but it seems the widget is quite limited. If I try to upload them individually, a windows pops up saying that only zip files are accepted. When I try to uploaded with the zip file it says that the format is not supported, and I only use SVG. I only upload icons in black and white (not filled or coloured). Some are accepted with the web Fontello, but even when those are uploaded to the web, they aren’t visible, they appear as dark dots, and the same happens when I upload them with elementor to the library. I am using a local host installed in my computer.
I know that some webs you have to credit the author, but there others that are completely free, and I don’t understand why I am unable to uploaded them.
Does anybody know what I am doing wrong? Is there any other way to upload icons through WordPress and then upload them to elementor?
I would appreciate any help. Thank you

one is on Flywheel and they say this plugin causing an infinite load and the site just times out before loading.

We have used your plugin on our site but we get this error message: https://cl.ly/26e9922fce1a. This issue has occurred due to the forward-slash (/) is missed from the url. Can you please fix this issue in your upcoming update?

]]>Hey all,
I wish I could share the site but it’s a private client’s site.
I updated plugins on a client’s site this week and I am now the mobile nav “hamburger” icon has become the order list icon (list-ol).
The site is running Elementor and Elementor pro 2.66 and Custom Icons for Elementor 0.3.1
In the CSS file “custom-pro-frontend.min.css this style:
.elementor-menu-toggle i:before {
content: “\e804”;
}
is overriding the correct one from the CSS file elementor-icons.min.css:
.eicon-menu-bar:before {
content: ‘\e816’;
}
Just a friendly heads-up that elementor uses a brand new icon / svg manager and custom icons uploaded through this plugin are seizing to show in the new ui.
I rolled back to 2.5.16 for now but just thought I should throw it out there!
Best!
Hey,
Thanks for creating this awesome plugin. I’m having some issues with it. It gives me a 502 and 504 errors. I contacted my host (Flywheel) and they informed me that if you plugin was disabled, the site was fine. They were correct. They sent me this log:

I enquired about mod_security and ZipArchive but they use a NGINX based server so that’s not applicable; and ZipArchive is working fine on their end.
Any help and recommendations would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Greeting friends!
Today Elementor announced version 2.6, which includes a completely reworked icon system and support for FontAwesome 5.
What does this mean for the “Custom Icons for Elementor” plugin?
I’ve already updated the codebase on Github to work with the new system. I would appreciate it if people could test it out for me.
Version 0.3 of my plugin will support the new icon font manager. One caveat (so far) is that the moment you click on any icon based element that is currently using one of your custom icons, the icon will be de-selected, and you will need to reselect it. I will work on a fix for that soon.
Thanks for the support on this, and thank you to the 30k+ people who use my plugin. Anyone wishing to slowly migrate their icon fonts over to pure SVG icons with the new font manager is welcomed to do so.
]]>Hi,
I just updated and the processes at my hosting account spun out of control and caused an error where the site wouldn’t load. I checked all the plugins and it was this one that was causing the issues.
Thanks,
]]>When installing the extension, please make a check if all the requirements are fullfilled if yes, proceed with the installating or show the work around for the zip extension if it is missing.
]]>Hi,
since the last update from 0.2.2 to 0.2.3 I have the following warning on the whole website: Warning: file_get_contents(/www/htdocs/xxx/xxx/wp-content/uploads/elementor_icons_files/fontello-96786cf2.zip/fontello-96786cf2/css/fontello.css): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/htdocs/xxx/xxx/wp-content/plugins/custom-icons-for-elementor/elementor-custom-icons.php on line 411
Of course I’m aware that this issue won’t display by disabling WP_DEBUG and I’m aware about the included CSS Regeneration tool which perhaps might solve this but I’m a little afraid to do so since the last time this resulted in all icons to be resetted, in other words I needed to replace all icons on the whole website once again.
Do you know of another reliable way to get this fixed?
]]>It suddenly occurred, probably after an update, that a custom icon I have installed with Elementor stopped displaying properly, and is now being rendered as a blank box.
I tried the steps in this thread, but to no avail.
Any way to have this solved?
