Using Make theme. This works amazingly. It’s such a useful tool for customizing your site. I’m using it to switch my header image on mobile view. I wouldn’t mind the developer taking a look at it to see if it could still cause issues for others and post that it’s been updated so it doesn’t come up as outdated.

While this technically works, it’s very outdated and uses a very old version of jquery. There is a very high chance that, upon installing this outdated plugin, it will have a conflict with one of your other plugins or themes and cause errors on your site.

I want to be able to change the text displayed in footer.php in <footer></footer> …
So instead of this I changed footer.php to display get_bloginfo( 'description' )
which is the site “slogan” .. not the best word but works i suppose

Unlike other plugins I’ve tried, this one is error-free. Great job!

I could have done the same thing with the “Header and Footer” plugin, but this plugin runs clean in Debug mode with no notices or warnings when PHP errors are turned on and WP_DEBUG is set to TRUE.
All I wanted to do was create a Footer picture across the bottom of a Twenty Ten theme (1.5 changes how Footer widgets work, so that doesn’t work anymore). This plugin does the job very well if you use the Blog Footer setting with img tag surrounded by center tag.

The only criticism I would have is to make it so you can isolate a particular page or post or all of them. As it is, it works fine, it’s just the code I put in goes to all pages instead of the one I needed it on. Other than that, it worked like a gem!
