I’m trying to add an Instagram feed shortcode to the meta header:

I am just a beginner and I was trying to add image in meta header using

<img src =”C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-content\themes\twentyfourteen\images\SS.jpg” height=”100″ width=”1000″>

I entered this code in the meta header portion in this plugin but the image is not coming on the real page when I browse the page.

Hi, I’ve been trying to find a widget that will allow me to post adsense ads in the header and footer of my website. I paste the code but it doesn’t show on the website. Is this widget able to support adsense ads/script? Or is there another widget or other way I can put these in my header/footer of my website?

Hi, I was trying out the Custom Headers and Footers plugin and I ran into a bit of a problem. After I activated it, I saved the footer code that was already included, just to test it out. After that I found that I couldn’t modify the code, or even remove the footer. I finally deactivated the plugin and even removed it from my site, but the footer is still there.

How can I remove it? What file did the plugin write to, maybe I can edit that file.

I am looking to change the header or add a header when viewing a blog related page. The rest of the pages on the site should not have this extra header.

Is there a way to exclude pages from having the custom headers and footers inserted? I see that they are not added to the blog homepage, but the custom headers and footers are added to the archive pages. I’m not sure what’s different about the loop that excludes these from the main page.

Also, it would be very useful to be able to exclude actual pages such as a “Contact Us” page from getting the custom headers and footers.

Any suggestions?

I just tried this out by setting a footer on my blog but it’s winding up at the top of my site, above *everything*. Didn’t try the other features.

Forgive the newbie question – just getting started with wordpress ??

If I install this plug-in, can I then add the menu widget and all those rss type things (as can be seen at the bottom of this page).

Also, I’m assuming it will retain my overall style (font, etc.)

Usually I depend on Footer Stuf . It has not been updated for a while but still works with out a single bug.

It supports java script and any other codes on footers/headers

Now, I want to shift to Custom Headers and Footers as my installation is of Multisite. Will give it a try and let you know if I got any trouble with it and if it support java snippets

Does it support short-codes and php codes?

– I don’t seem to be capable of using shortcodes in my footers and headers
– The blog footer won’t show up even though I entered things in the blog footer section

Seems that the custom header ‘custom-headers-and-footers’ plugin causes weird text to appear in podpress feeds in their newest version. I will also send them a message as well. Thought I’d notify you of that bug.
