This plugin isn’t very intuitive, and there isn’t any documentation available.

It’s a great plugin with some issues:
Test Environment:Wordpress 3.9.2+the twentyfourteen theme,without any other plugins.
1. I18n:
1.1 Warning: _() expects exactly 1 parameter, 2 given in xxx\wp-content\plugins\cubepoints\modules\donate\donate.php on line 165
it should be:
'somethingWentWrongText' => __('Oops, something went wrong! Please try again later.', 'cp');
1.2 the backup.php file should add some ,'cp'to _();
1.3 line 80 of post_authors_points.php should be:
_e('Comment on your post was removed','cp'); and so on;
2. BUGS?
2.1 the ajax user search form on the wp-admin/admin.php?page=cp_admin_add_points page may be have some issue;
2.2 if I activate the Paid content module and set the ‘Multiply points earned by’ to 2, when some user pay for a post need to pay 10, Cubepoints will deduct 20 points from the user’s account.
3.for better I18n:

this is a amazingly plugin included everthing i didnt know that i needed. Love it! just wish you could name your own points ?? its not a biggy tho. i rate thi 5 and i cant wait till the new version comes out!

This plugin looked very promising, but unfortunately it seems to have been abandoned as of mid 2013. I had a difficult time finding documentation for it as well. Check out the plugin MyCred instead, it is pretty amazing and implements the flexible, modular points system that Cubepoints appears to have once provided.

We use it and like it a lot.
Unfortunately it appears development has discontinued and no support from author. Kudos to other users that have offered their help in the forum.
However at some point, an undeveloped plugin may be a security liability and/or no longer be compatible with a future WordPress update.

I use CubePoints inside WP Symposium to create a little friendly competition between my members. I have set-up the ranks or levels of achievement using the characters from the movie “Monty Python and the Holy Grail”. When once completed, someone will win a prize. It’s great fun every time a member moves up in rank. It would be nice to see icons to represent each rank/level achieved, but other than that it’s an excellent plugin.

Plugin has not worked for months (end march 2013). After the new wordpress update it has not worked properly and they are taking a long time to update it, so I do not recommend it for anyone running a serious site and would depend on this plugin working.

we test your plugin for wordpress 3.2 and BuddyPress, there is a problem when you want to give points. The popup window do bugger the site and do the rowing site. When you click next nothing happens!
Otherwise the plugin is very nice
