this plugin used to be awesome for so many months. but after the latest updates that you added api requirement it does not working well anymore

it creates lots of opened queries to database which causes mysql server overload and halts.

can you check if the queries close maybe it opens some queries and does not check for its completion and closure?

I went on my website yesterday and all my widgets said no coins selected, so I went to add my coins again and it is screwed up, for example, bitcoin should say Bitcoin BTC, now it says “Bitcoin Avalanche Bridged (BTC” Ethereum says “Wrapped Beacon ETH” and I can’t even find some of the other coins I had not sure what changed I think maybe the plugin got updated so I would like to revert to the old plugin if that’s the case but any more ideas?

I’ve recently started using your plugin and have encountered an issue with adding the PENEXCHANGERATES.ORG API key. Despite selecting USD as the currency, it continues to prompt that the currency is not selected. Could you please advise if I’m missing a crucial step? One more thing keep in mind that I’m working on localhost, let me know if it only work on live site

Additionally, I’ve noticed that all tutorials are two years old and don’t reflect the current process of adding APIs. Could you create new tutorials using demo APIs to assist users like me?

everything else works fine, but after update. the ticker/marquee has stopped working. It shows “You have not selected any currencies to display” where you place the widget, but I have selected top 10.

how can I adjust the visibility for the “Name” and “#” columns to be higher than the data rows when viewed on mobile?

I’ve observed that in the tableHeadFixer.js file, the z-index value of 11 seems to be ignored. Adding an “!important” declaration might resolve the issue.

If I add the “!important”, it works.

However, how can I modify the .js file, or is there another solution?

We have correct required setup/environment for this plugin to work correctly. Every few days we check our site and see there are multiple cryptos that prices are out of date and not being automatically updated by the plugin. Prices for Bitcoin and other popular cryptos are usually current, but some random cryptos do not get updated. It varies, never the same crypto. Usually occurs when said random crypto experiences anomaly spike high volume trading for a day and goes up %XXX so you can easily see them stand out when sorting by price %… and the only way to update those stuck crypto prices is it deactivate and reactivate the plugin… which is just ridiculous. Using CoinGecko API.

Does the plugin dev even care? This issues has been ongoing for years. I’m guessing this issue does not exist on the “paid version” of plugin. ????

I am new here. Wondering how to change the look of the pagination buttons in the advanced table. They look bigger, and the I would like have their properties such as color and look to be editable to match with the color scheme of the website.

There seems to be a CSS conflict that is inserting a large bottom padding for the ticker. Can you help with this? Thank you!

Looks like the dev is using DataTables (https://datatables.net/) to build these price tables. DataTables has the ability to add a “show 10, 25, 50, 100” rows as a drop down on the top-left of the table to the left of prev/next.

The most popular Table plugin by far, Tablepress, does this with their tables by default and it is a very useful feature nice UI for front-end users. Saving them scrolling, helping them to find data faster.

This plugin dev should add that feature.

It would be very useful to give end user ability to easy change the number of rows displayed from 10, 25, 50, 100, all… so even if the wp admin set the default # of coins/rows to display per page at 25 the user could change it with a simple drop-down on the top left of the chart (to the left of the prev/next buttons).

The developer of Tablepress plugin has these options for their tables.

Are there any shortcode variable to modify the view of the price chart tables? For example, maybe we don’t want to display the “volume” column. Or maybe we want to show 30 day price trend in addition to the 24hr price trend, etc, etc.

If there is a list of shortcode variables please let us know and provide a link to any documentation on shortcodes for advanced table widget.

I was about to purchase the Cryptocurrency Widgets – Price Ticker & Coins List, when I realized the free version is not showing on my live website.

Only in the preview and the customizing area of WordPress, i can see it, once I log out and visit the site as a regular person, the ticker is not showing up.

I tried to test with another ticker plug-in, and this is working fine with it(Cryptocurrency Widgets Pack by blocksera)

Seems like the free plugin only exists to promote their paid plugin. The devs don’t pay much attention. For example some prices will just be way off or freeze for days and days. Example > CUSDT price was $1,000,000,000 for a few days. Only way to fix is to deactivate and re-activate the plugin which is a major flaw. How do we expect the end users/visitors to sites that use this plugin to take the site seriously when they can clearly see the prices are often so far out of wack. C’mon devs. You can do better, right?

We have a valid API key but it appears that multiple crtyptos prices are not being updated after many days. For example, STEEM crpto price has been the same for many days stuck at .56 while the current market price (coinmarketcap) is .38

There are multiple other crypto prices that are not even close to the current market prices from Coinmarketcap or Coingecko even if we take a 12 hour delay into account.

You can compare prices for the url we submitted vs coinmarketcap.com or coingecko.com and see. Our site is showing the max 250 coins setting with 100 coins per page prev/next option.

Please advise on solution for this.

Great plugin. I mainly have 2 uses: (1) The MultiCurrency widget and (2) the 250 Table showing all the coins.

(1) The currencies other than USD seem to have an incorrect exchange rate, despite having entered openexchangerates.org API key. A few API requests seem to be made, but it doesn’t seem to be working!?

(2) A dozen of coins appear at the top of the list with a bigger marketcap than all the rest ($1T), which is a little annoying. It may be coins with low prices and a huge supply? I’m unsure how to solve this, but it would be great to not have them at the top.

I’m currently running a local host for my wordpress building a site and I was using the Crypto Widget tool and for some reason when I place the ticker shortcode onto any page, in between each crypto is a check box but if I have it stick to the top of the header or footer it will display correctly.

When I added full coin list It is breaking the mobile responsiveness. But when I select 10 It is working. Please check home page it is working. But on the marketcap page it is breaking on mobile

I really like this plugin. Great job to you developers that made this. I have an issue. The scrolling ticker only appears to be working on Chrome but on other browsers like Firefox and Opera, it just shows a table.
