since acf5 is don’t see a killer feature here? Okay – the sortable table and filter function is great! but for a crm i would expect things like:
– groups: assign users to group (based on their custom field values)
– easy/batch editing: having the ability to edit custom field values right in the overview table. and make changes to selected users (i.e. assign them to a group),
– send admin-messages (newsletter) to the users
i am very interested in this plugin and will watch it closely…

I will benefit a lot from this plugin and I’m surprised it wasn’t available sooner! The search function will make it a lot easier to scroll through my clients.
The filter is just an added benefit! I like the fact that I can create my own filters.
I’ll be sure and pass this one along as I feel it’s essential for any businesses with a CRM.
Thanks!

I can definitely see myself paying for the pro version if they get this plugin working correctly. Here are the current issues I saw:
– The search field entry containers in the “User” page overlay and cover up many of the column headers on the right side of the page
– The search field itself is broken – queries result in just a spinning indicator which never give a result
Some big issues that need fixing. But if they can get it working, and get the custom fields portion working well, I think they’ll have a good product that will fit in well between PauPress and WP-CRM.

CRM Plugin for WordPress is a really nice way to track customer data and contacts without spending a lot of time & money getting infrastructure setup. The search capabilities are pretty good too because you can use compound searches to create search filters.
I was concerned about being able to add different types of fields to my CRM data fields, and luckily it works with another WP plugin that allows you to create any type of data field you like. So this is a big plus.
What I’d recommend is that you create a subdomain such as crm.yourdomain.com and install WP on it so it’s a clean, dedicated CRM site. You can run it on your blog site too, but it’s generally easier and cleaner to have a dedicated site for this.
