Hello,
When I go into an already created order to create a user manually (admin), if I try to create a new order for that user, and then click on load billing information, name + surname + email are missing, but visible on shipping information.
But, if I go to the user profile after pressing “create user from order details”, and just click “Save” at the end of the page, it works for name and surname, but email is always missing because email is not set in the billing information when creating the user.
Thank you!
]]>Hi Folks,
I tried to convert a single guest order to a user with the button on the order page, but it created a second Woocommerce Customer with the same email address, and did not create a WordPress User.
Can you help me troubleshoot what has happened?
Thank you!
EDIT: I may be misunderstanding how this plugin works. From Admin, I had created a guest account order, and now the customer was trying to log in to pay for it. They couldn’t login because they weren’t a Customer. I thought that this plugin would create a WordPress User from the guest, and then link the order to that.
It seems that there are 3 entities at work: Guest customer, Woocommerce Customer, and WordPress User. I thought that Woocommerce Customers were just WordPress Users with the “Customer” role applied. Is that true?

Hi, thank you for providing this plugin!
I don’t want to convert all guest to customer, can you make it happen to make single guest order convert to customer, e.g. if a customer ask for that, or if I want to block an annoying customer?
Checkbox at order page with and without notification would be perfect!
Hi Guys,
Tested this out on one site with WordPress posts storage (legacy) and works perfectly, and exactly as it should.
However on the other sites that already have High-performance order storage set, get the error:
“This plugin is incompatible with the enabled WooCommerce features ‘Remote Logging’ and ‘High-Performance order storage’, it shouldn’t be activated.”
Can roll it out on other sites when it has that update.
Keep up the good work!.
]]>Hi,
I can’t get this extension to work. It doesn’t create user from guest handle. It should be set up correctly:
Ok – Go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> General.
Ok- Enable the checkbox for “Enable Create User From Guest Order”.
Ok – Optionally, enable the checkbox for “Send User Notification Email when user is created”.
I’m using WP Current version: 6.7.1
