I sent a question to the CrazyEgg.com help form a few days ago and still nothing but the original “Hey we received this” automated response. Does anyone monitor those?
We are using your plugin:- Crazy Egg
we want to know if your plugin is compatible with PHP 8.1 or not.
We would love to know ASAP.
yes i like this crazy egg heatmap it looks like very suitable plugin for my website that was hosted on WordPress can you plz guide me is this plugin suitable for my website or not?
Frankly this plugin project appears dead in the water.
No updates or support replies for ages. ??
I added our script tag to the plugin settings and it shows on the home page but no other pages (even after hard-refresh and clearing cache and cookies, on multiple computers and browsers even in private browsing).
Before diving into the plugin source code or our theme source code, could our theme customizations be interfering? From what I’m seeing, our home page and other page source use the same header include code.
What else could I be missing here, or how do I troubleshoot it?
I’m trying to troubleshoot my WooCommerce, when I have this plugin activated I can not get pass the Billing tab. Only when it is deactivated then WooCommerce will work.
Please help fix this.
Thanks
Hi,
I created an account at CrazyEgg and downloaded your WordPress Plugin and am having trouble with tracking.
When I check the installation, I’m getting this error:
“Server responded Yes.
Successfully loaded Crazy Egg tracking script? Yes.
Tracking script matches your user account? Yes.
Tracking intended snapshot? No. You’re checking Info for the Health-Conscious Dog Owner | Primal Pooch (ID 1650814) but this page is tracking Info for the Health-Conscious Dog Owner | Primal Pooch (ID 1650809).
How do I fix this?
Looks like the Crazy Egg snippet on your webpage may not be installed correctly. Check that the snippet is placed in your page right before the closing
tag of your site.”
Not quite sure how to remedy this since I used the plugin. Any help would be appreciated.
Having installed the WordPress plugin which failed to verify, I manually installed the JavaScript in my footer.
That also fails to verify.
Is this code working under 4.2.2?
I’ve installed the plugin on my site and entered my account number. The tag is being rendered to the page but CrazyEgg can’t detect it. When I click “check if you have Crazy Egg installed correctly.” I still get “Script code on page? No, the script code could not be detected. See the the instructions.” There are no script errors being thrown on the page.
Hi.
I’m interested in having the plugin display the crazyegg code only for non logged in users, or better yet – exclude a list of predefined users, so that we can exclude all the site’s operators from the statistics.
Is there any way to accomplish that?
Thank you!
