The #1 reason why I like this plugin is that you can select 100+ images from your Media library and they are added instantly. The list of images for a gallery is displayed as a collection of thumbnails, which makes it easy to see what images you have selected for your gallery. Removing an image from the gallery does not immediately delete it from the Media library, which is excellent. Also, it does not make changes to the Media library as some plugins do. Very smooth and unobtrusive.
The Gallery is displayed using blueimp.Gallery. You can find the details here: https://blueimp.github.io/Gallery/
This Lightbox gallery implementation is lightweight and easy to customize. This was all it took to customize the plugin and make it display file names as title:

< $attachment_title = str_replace("_"," ",$attachment_title);

10 out of 10 would use again!

Does what it claims. Clean and simple installation and live use. I was going to rate with 4 stars, but chose 5 stars with hopes enhancements come (without dogging the user with “buy the Pro version”).
IMO, the following would make this plugin more frequently installed and popular:
1) I couldn’t find a way to have the gallery appear AFTER other page content. Any attempt to have, say, a paragraph of text BEFORE the gallery, forces the text BELOW the gallery. It would be great to have some flexibility to combine the gallery with other page content.
2) Provide a way to order the images. I didn’t find any support info that shows the plugin can do this.
3) When painting the gallery on a page, automatically arrange the images so there are no “missing picture” blank areas. My images are not drastically different sizes, but still, depending on image size, this gallery leaves spaces that suggest missing pictures. Refer to [ redacted ] for example. Interestingly, when the web browser’s window is resized, the blank areas still appear, though the images do get re-positioned on the page.
Thanks for creating a basic WP plugin.
