Hey, I’m facing an issue where our android users are seeing this bug on the related posts plugin.

The related posts are stacked on top of one another when viewing through their android devices.

Are there any suggestions on how we can troubleshoot this?

I am very lucky with this Plugin and the related posts.
In case that I also use the Google Adsense Advertisement on my Website I like bring them together.
I like use the related posts directly after the content of my page (as you can see it currently here: https://www.waller-fangen.de/welcher-wallerhaken/) There are now 3 related posts and after them there is a Google Adsense Banner. Now I like to have this Google Adsense Banner between the first and the second related posts. Do you have any idea how I can make this?

I love your plugin and thank you for your work. However, I have an issue with it.
When I update by quick edit bulk wordpress default all related post I set, disappear at all from frontend and backend!! I’ve done this operation for multiple post so I lost many many hour of work.

Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

A nice plugin, but after installing it to discover it is not showing on a website which is part or a network. Does it support network sites?

Looks like the apostrophe s issue is back for me. my error log is filled with warnings like these:

On line 249 of cp-related-posts.php you are using $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'] for the <form> @action URL. That can be problematic for edge cases like one of my clients who for SEO reasons is proxying a site from a /blog/ subdirectory to WPEngine where they do not support subdirectory installs (don’t look at me, the client chose them!)

Anyway, as is we can’t really use your plugin but we’d like to. I am hoping you would be willing to change it to use an absolute URL using your function: cprp_site_url().'admin.php?page=cprp-settings'

Also, we have the same problem with line 590 which has only a relative URL:

Your plugin is best I found for the moment so far. However, I have an issue with it.
I installed it in a testing hosing and now I want to move it to another hosting. Both wordpress installations are multisite.

I exported all the tables related to the site ID and imported them to the new place. Site ID within multisite was changed.

I installed plugin in new place. Everything works in frontend, but in the backend I have errors.

First – process previous posts button leads to 500 error.
Second – saving of any post also leads to 500 error, if the plugin is activated.
Third – ‘get tags’ function in the post also doesn’t work. I can only see already generated list of tags, changing the post text completely doesn’t replace that tags, as it should be in normally operating plugin.

My questions are – what I did wrong during the migration?
Where the plugin stores its data? I found some records in the postmeta table. How to locate the records with plugin’s data?

I also noted that even after removing plugin and its data (as stated in the warning at removal) not all its data are removed. After reinstalling the plugin I see all the manually added relations and all the css changes I made within the plugin.

CP Related Posts also doesn’t work in other multisites in this new installation.

We have the pro version of your plugin installed and we have noticed that the related posts are loading the full size images rather than smaller or thumbnail versions. Is there someway to change this so that the pages load more quickly and use fewer resources?

It would be great if we could trim the excerpt to a specific number of words. Would you consider adding this feature? Either as a setting or as a hook to allow other themes to set the number of words.

Hi,

I’ve just made a website using CP Related posts as work references in the end of specific pages. Everything worked out fine until suddenly all related pages were cleared. I use only the manually selected pages, not any other relations. I had to manually set the relations again.

Why did this happen and how can I prevent it from happening again? I have the newest version of the plugin installed.

I have installed CP Related Posts and all works well with one exception. When looking at my homepage, the excerpts or preview of the posts show “related posts” within the post excerpts.

How can I fix this?? I can’t seem to find out why it’s showing as a post excerpt on the homepage.
