I had written a simple plugin to allow a few protocols for users with the editor role, but the function stopped working on our servers in the past 3-5 months of WP upgrades, filtering the allowed_protocols.

I installed and activated your plugin to see if I’d missed something in the code or current convention, but the visual editor continues to strip out the protocols your plugin adds.

Before I try to replicate the issue on other servers, has anyone observed the visual editor stripping the protocols out?
