It seems that the latest plugin update broke something. The “Copy” button stopped showing. I have the HTML Tag Selector set to “pre”.

Getting lots of these entries in debug.log

my WordPress website auto-updated this plugin today. Now my website shows only this here, and I can’t login to the backend because of that. So I need some ftp action when I find the time for it *sigh* …

On all of my websites using the plugin, the content loads and then the element to which the copy button is attached (e.g. H1) moves slightly up/down as the copy button is displayed.

If the button is set to be on top, the content is pushed down.

Is this behavior normal?

Is there a way to load the button together with the content?

This is quite irritating as it creates a content move effect, similar to the one when you have advertisements displaying in your content – the content is loaded first and then it starts moving in order for the ads to take their place…

I use your Copy Anything to Clipboard plugin. “Cron Events” shows that the hook: copy_the_code_tracker_send_event, has a recursion of “Once a week” and that it has an Action of “None”. Arguments: None. This triggers approximately every 10 seconds. It cannot be edited or deleted. This must be your hook, because when I disabled your plugin, I went to the hook editing form. Is it supposed to be done like this – about every 10 seconds? Two screenshots:

Love your plugin. However,….

The copy animation still does not work for the shortcode despite the fix. It works for 3.7.0 but not for the latest version 3.8.1 that was supposed to fix the issue. I have tested it on several sites. When I rollback to 3.7.0 it works fine. (Also your contact form on your Web site does not work, it gives ythe following error message “The form was unable to submit. Please contact the site administrator.”)

I’m not sure when the issues first appeared, but running the latest 3.7.0 version I decided to remove the plugin.

During a monthly website audit, I found the plugin causes significant pagespeed impact on the entire website (even pages not using the plugin) & loads files where it shouldn’t.

Let me explain:

• It should only load the plugin files on a page that actively uses the plugin. Or at least the option to do so (without needing an asset cleanup tool)
• It should not load back-end block editor JS files on the front end. Examples: block-editor.min.js, editor.min.js, etc. loaded on all pages. While they should generally not be loaded at all on the front-end.

If these issues are not addressed I can no longer recommend this plugin. Which is a shame, because otherwise, I like what it does.

Try to copy the code and the buggy behaviour is:

• The word Copy gets removed from Copyright
• the formatting is lost, empty spaces are removed

as this is just for demonstration, we use some spaces in other code places and it gets removed as such code is hard to read after copy-paste, there is no block building plugin used its simple gutenberg <code> element

Hi. This is a great plugin. However, I’d like to know if in the next version, you could find a way to prevent the plugin’s *.css and *.js files from loading on posts and pages that do not use the plugin? My site has around 50 posts, but it is only using the plugin’s functionality on 4 posts. However, it seems like the following *.css and *.js files are being loaded on all posts and pages:

Is it possible to have the button copy text (in my case ‘copied’), remain on display after clicking? Currently, it reverts to the initial button text (in my case ‘copy’) soon after clicking on it.

I’ve looked through the documentation here: https://clipboard.agency/doc/ however, I cannot ascertain how to achieve the above.

I’m using the css class and it when you hover over the text and click, it shows the “success” message as if it’s been copied. However, when you paste somewhere else it has not copied the text.
Any ideas?

P.s. click on one of the downloads on the page I linked in order to see the “click to copy” text.

I tried to translate “Copied to Clipboard” text to Greek, using Loco, but it didn’t change. I figure that the change implements only to Elementor widget (which i don’t use). I am using this shortcode:

I just bought the premium version (V2.5.6). When I try to activate it, I get this Fatal error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a?fatal error.

First of all, I really like this plugin because it is small and does what it is supposed to do.

Still, I have a feature request, or maybe it’s already implemented and I just can’t find how to enable it.

Is there a way to show line numbers? Only for readability of the code/text. The line numbers should not be copied when copying the text to the clipboard.

I’m trying to allow the user to copy a passed variable from the previous page form to a results page, but I’m not having any luck. (I can’t get your websites to pull up today or I would contact you there)

[get_param param=”my-testimonial”] is the code, but when I put the copy shortcode tags around it, it will not work as the get_param function ceases to work at that point. I’ve also tried a combination but it’s not working either.

This variable is also passed through the URL of the page if that helps.

Context: User submits testimonial on previous page, on the next page they are thanked and asked if they want to share that testimonial on google. I’m trying to give them the option to copy their text here on this page to make it easy.

Hello. You’re plug-in is great and almost perfect for my use case. However, I find that when it is installed, the font size of my text to be copied inside the code block is being fixed to its default size and cannot be increased.

I need to be able to increase the font size inside the code block, to catch the reader’s attention. Can you suggest a workaround for this? Thanks!

How can make sure that double quotation marks will be properly copied and paste ?
