The CoolEye WP plugin was an interface to CoolIris’ Embed Wall API. The company CoolIris was acquired by Yahoo in Nov. of 2014. Unfortunately at the end of 2014 they announced that the Embed Wall API was no longer supported and that they were disabling the ability to use the service.
A quote from CoolIris/Yahoo:
The discontinuation of the Cooliris Embed Wall is not related to Yahoo. We discontinued active development on it a few years ago as we shifted our focus to new mobile apps. We are a small team and unfortunately, we did not have the resources to invest in developing and maintaining our legacy products, like the Embed Wall.
The Cooliris Embed Wall will be completely shut down on December 31, 2014. After the discontinuation, existing Cooliris Embed Walls will no longer appear properly, so we recommend removing them from your website and finding an alternative solution for your galleries.
Thank you for your support and understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions.
Kind regards,
The Cooliris Team
]]>Hi could you tell me if this would work with nextgen gallery’s.
]]>coolEye looks like a great plugin, but it’s not working for me in WordPress 3.2.1. Will a compatible version be published soon? Thank you!
]]>I’m using my own feed for this plugin and it requests me to add a crossdomain.xml file to my webserver root. The message displays a code to copy, which I created a file for but it still won’t read my feed.
<?xml version=”1.0″?>
<!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM “https://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd”>
<cross-domain-policy>
<allow-access-from domain=”*.cooliris.com” />
</cross-domain-policy>
I also tried just uploading each of the provided linked files without code :
