I have been successfully using your plugin for the past year on our multisite. I have an odd request. Currently only “published” posts are included in the list. I would like to setup the mirroring while the original post is still in draft. The reason for this is that I want to send out automated text alerts to our multisite subscribers when new posts are published. I need to get the posts copied prior to the main site status changes to “published” which triggers the text alerts. Unfortunately, unless it is in a published state it does not appear in my mirrored content list. Any suggestions?

Love this plugin, exactly what we need for a current project.
PROBLEM:
We tested it first, then went into production class development of the multisite.
Without warning, the “Pages/Posts List” stopped displaying.
ATTEMPTED REMEDIES:
1 – Delete and reinstall plugin
2 – Turn off all other plugins
3 – Install to one site on the network
4 – Install “Network Active”
5 – Tried different browser
All of the above fail to correct the problem. However, we are able to use the SHORTCODE to post a MIRRORED PAGE. This works fine, just inconvenient.
We also installed to a totally different multisite install hosted on the same private server. This test proved successful, and the “Pages/Posts List” displayed correctly.
We then matched the “active” plugin list from the two different multisites, and tested again. Still on the first multisite the “Pages/Posts List” refused to display, while the second multisite works fine.
Please advise what might fix this issue.

Hello,
I implemented a function that changes the post content in php code. It works fine for everything without content mirror. When a post uses content mirrow, it loads 5 min and then an empty page is shown.
My function is added to the post content with
add_filter('the_content', 'function_name');I suppose that the plugin does not work with that filter.
Can someone help me please? Do I need to change something in contentmirror.php?
]]>I’ve upgraded my site to 3.9.1, and upgraded Content Mirror to 1.2. I know 3.9’s version of TinyMCE has a lot of conflicts with many plugins, unfortunately Content Mirror is one of them. I need content mirroring on my site, but I need a text editor as well. ?? Is there a bug fix/workaround to get these 2 plugins to work together?

We have a lot of pages with embedded videos. When there is a video on the page, rather than mirroring the source page, it takes you to the source page which is on another site. The whole purpose of the mirroring content is to keep people on the site.
Should this redirect be happening? Is there a solution for this?

I see that this is not an option in current version. Is this something that you are planning on adding? If so, what would be the time frame?

]]>I just installed WordPress 3.9 and the visual editors disappears when the Content Mirror plugin is active. I noticed that you just updated it, and I installed that version, but I’m still having the same problem. Visual editor works normally when Content Mirror is deactivated.

I’m looking for a solution for easy cloning and updating posts from local machine to live site, so my suggestion would be to have one “clone/update options” page, where administrator can select what to clone to another site/db.
settings page:
db-host, user, pass, etc…
clone/update selection:
posts
pages
categories
tags
custom fields
taxonomies
clone now button (or cron option for hourly, daily cloning)
the main reason is that I work with allot of plugins while processing posts (this slows down my live site). it also a pita to correct/revise them online etc…
But when posts are processed and are ready on a local machine, I would just clone only POSTS (with exactly the same permalinks) to the live WP-site with zero plugins installed.
(this way live site would be much faster and would be also more secured,etc etc…)
this plugin is exactly what i need, however on my multisite installation unless i am logged in as an administrator, the content mirror i reference is blank.
what is causing the restriction to only administators?
has anyone else experienced this?

This is a wonderful plugin that opens up great CMS functionalities.
However for my current project I have certain content that is private and not ment to be seen by people outside of a certain group.
It is a project with multiple authors and contributors etc., and today this plugin can be used to mirror content of posts thate are marked private.
The post contributor / editor / author only have to specifiy the correct post ID of a otherwise private post. This is something that can be done by misstakenly specifying a certain post ID, or with mallicious intent using a trial and error approach.
Would it be possible to disable the mirroring functionality only for posts that are marked private?

I’ve installed on a few sites, a multisite (as network enabled and within a site) and standard, clean install of 3.3.1, and the content-mirror button just doesn’t appear on the tinyMCE bar! Any pointers?
