We have this plugin installed and it sort of works but it is only sending 1 email address a day to Constant Contact. It doesn’t really have any rhyme or reason it just sends 1 email address from that day to Constant Contact and that’s it. Any ideas on how to fix this? We are running the latest version of this plugin. Thanks!

]]>It doesn’t appear that this bug is going to be fixed any time soon – I think the author has been gone for at least 2 years. Since this plugin is still around and may be the only solution for some people, it is important to make users aware of a potentially dangerous bug which still exists in the code. If your server or headquarters are located in a region where you must comply with US laws (or if your region has similar SPAM restrictions), I advise users of this plugin to ensure that people are not getting signed up for newsletters that they did not wish to subscribe to.
Bug details are on GitHub (link below). Basically if you are using the ‘single checkbox’ option, it signs people up whether or not they checked the box: https://github.com/katzwebservices/Contact-Form-7-Newsletter/issues/79
There is a Pull Request which can act as a temporary bandage until the author returns.
Hope this helps.
]]>I am using Contact form 7 Newsletter(version 2.2) plugin with Contact for 7(Version 4.4.2). I want to add the Opt-in checkbox at the bottom of the form. There is option to add checkbox field and make it as opt-in field, but whether I checked or not, everytime the entry gets stored in Constant Contact which should not be the case.
Please help me out resolving this issue.
]]>Bummer. No longer works. On to the next plugin.
]]>Basically, when you add your email and hit send, it doesn’t end up in the Constant Contact list. I’m using a hidden list (there’s no opt-in drop-down menu to choose the list), and am using latest update. I really would love to give you more info about the site, the plugins I’m using, and so-forth, so that you may determine that I’m 100% certain that the issue is caused by the plugin and not a 3rd party issue. But the logins are correct, the forms are setup correctly, all settings double (and triple) checked, everything else on the site works. I can only assume the issue still exists from the plugin’s prior bugs and issues.
Sorry if there’s not enough information for you to trust that the plugin still has bugs, but I really just don’t have the time to troubleshoot specifics and am here in good faith that you’ll assume the plugin still needs re-tooling. Thanks for all your hard work, it’s definitely appreciated.

This plugin does not work with WP 4.3.1 on a new site. It is not sending the forms through to CTCT. Current installations do seem to be still working though. I see on Github others have experienced this.
]]>Hi,
Stuck on this instruction:
“add this code to the Mail tab”
What field on the Mail tab is it added to?
How to Configure the Contact Form 7 Newsletter Plugin instructions are good but seem to skip this point
thanks
Hi,
I was trying to configure one of my newsletter forms and, after selecting the appropriate Constant Contact list, the plugin generated tags:
One of the tags ([ctct ctct-113 …… etc]) goes to the form and the other one below ([ctct-113]) is supposed to be inserted into the “Mail fields below.” Where exactly this should go in the Mail fields?..
I am not a web developer, just a user trying to add some useful plugins to my website developed by a team of WP specialists (who are no longer supporting the website).
Thanks!

The integration between our contact forms and constant contact is not working. We still receive the filled out forms in our email along with what mailing lists they would like to join. However, when looking at the Constant Contact contacts, the new subscribes have not automatically been added.
When looking at the Contact form 7 Newsletter plugin on WordPress, I can see an error where the integration fields show up.
The drop downs for each field are now blank. When I click the down arrow I see the following message typed long ways in the drop down menu:
Fatal error call to undefined method wpcf7 shortcode manager instance in /wp-content/plugins/contactform7newsletter/shortcode.php on line 30
Also, when submitting a form on our website, the following error appears at the top of the web page:
Warning: strpos() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in site path /public_html/wp-includes/shortcodes.php on line 193
Is this problem being looked into? Is this due to the update of wordpress to 3.9? When can we expect a fix?

]]>Does not connect result of CF7 form to Constant Contact.
bug posted at GitHub.
]]>Constant Contact Newsletter 2.0.3 and 2.0.4 does not work with Contact Form 7 v3.31. I’m not sure if it’s due to incompatibility with WP 3.4.2. But, when I deactivate Constant Contact Newsletter, then Contact Form 7 works just fine.
What do I mean by not working?
There is no form shortcode shown the Contact Form 7’s admin area (in the brown box), and the “Generate Tags” box is missing. Also, my Constant Contact lists are no longer there.
Any ideas?

Version 2.0 has a brand-new way of integrating with Contact Form 7 forms! You no longer need to copy and paste form fields. Now there’s a simple drop-down menu to pick your Integration Fields.
* Added: When a form is connected to Constant Contact, you will see an icon
* Improved: Handling shortcode processing in CTCT settings
* Fixed: Compatibility with multiple plugins using the same Constant Contact scripts
Please download Version 2.0, and if you have any issues, please report any bugs.

currently you just have one field for check box.
I’m having trouble with Constant Contact credentials authenticating the plugin. Same problem to another plugin “Gravity Forms Constant Contact Add-on”. My Username/password are just alphanumeric, and I don’t have problem to “Constant Contact for WordPress” plugin. Please advise.
