I had started out using the embed code approach from Constant Contact, however it didn’t support the redirect URL, so I’m happy that this plugin works just as I needed it to with shortcode:

While there are some simple features I’d like to see incorporated, this is a great ajax alternative to some of the other more popular constant contact plugins. I switched to this to avoid page refreshes on subscribe. was easy to implement and style. Would love to be able to easily edit placeholder text and error messages, and to be able to select lists from a pull down.

I like how simple this plugin is, but it never actually functioned correctly for me. It returned errors upon every submission, even though at times the submission actually went through. It’s very slow and there’s no user feedback that the form is actually working.

I needed a simple constant contact subscription field on my site and this one worked well. I’ve tested it and it seems to work well. Logged into Constant Contact and could find the test email address I added.
