Good morning, I have installed this plugin in two different wordpress and it has not given me problems, however I have done it in a new installation but when I use the shortcode and click on “Connect discord” it takes me as usual to authorize discord to establish the connection. The thing is that once I authorize the connection I go back to the test page where I have the shortcode but I get the same button “Connect discord”, that is, as if the action had not been performed since I should get the button “Disconnect discord”.
In addition it adds me in the url a parameter “code” which was not added in the previous version of the plugin, I do not know if it has to do with the new update.
I understand that it is not any failure of the bot or permissions on the server because in the same way I have connected in other wordpress and has not given me any problem this plugin, the only difference I detect is that parameter in the url, attached screenshot.
I hope I have been understood, any clarification you need I will be pending the thread.
Thank you very much.
Hey there!
I’m having an issue where the [learndash_discord]
shortcode where it doesn’t seem to display the Discord buttons.
I’ve tried adding the shortcode to different pages, checking the front end with different user accounts with varying permissions.
I’ve checked the console and it’s clear of errors. And, unfortunately, the Logs are empty.
I’ve followed the setup instructions carefully and have successfully connected my Bot to LearnDash, so all is good there. I’ve also tried deactivating other (non-LearnDash) plugins and reverting to a default WP theme — I’m currently on the latest version of Kadence.
Interestingly, there appears to be two columns for the Learndash-Discord plugin on the Users screen.
Maybe there’s something to that? Any help you can offer would be great. Thanks!
]]>Hi, team!
I’m trying to translate this plugin into Spanish and encountered an issue. There’s a specific line that cannot be translated either with plugins or through translate.www.remarpro.com:
In “wp-content/plugins/connect-learndash-and-discord/admin/class-learndash-discord-admin.php”, specifically line 697 esc_html__( sprintf( 'Connected account: %s', $_ets_learndash_discord_username ), 'connect-learndash-and-discord' )
.
The same text appears in line 717 of the same file and in line 240 of “wp-content/plugins/connect-learndash-and-discord/public/class-learndash-discord-public.php”. None of these instances can be translated.
It seems that it cannot be detected as translatable text. Notably, this text is the only instance where esc_html__
is used with sprintf
in the plugin.
Could you please look into this? I might be mistaken, but it would be greatly appreciated if this text could be made translatable.
Thank you in advance.

]]>I installed the Connect Discord to LearnDash plugin with the expectation that it would only be giving students the option to connect to Discord from their profile based on roles after they’ve logged in with the account they set up on my website and signed up for a course. That part works fine.
However, the plugin is automatically showing a log in with Discord option on the registration popup. I do not want this. The functionality isn’t there. I need them to register via an account on my website – not log in with Discord – so that memberships and enrollments that I have set up work correctly. How do I remove this link from the registration? The plugin settings give me no option to do so.
To get the log in pop up to open, you have to click on the “login to enroll” button on the page I shared.
Hi. I’m very much a novice web developer building my own coaching and education site and this plugin looks perfect to connect learndash with discord… but I can find no instructions on what to do.
There are a host of things on the wordpress side like client ID’s and Bot Tokens and redirects. .. can someone provide some steps to get me setup please?
If I’ve missed the setup documentation would someone point me towards that please?
Regards. …Jon
]]>This is really great!
Would love to have the ability to decide the placement of the “box” and although I believe I managed to set it up, I would like some documentation on how to use, hopefully coming soon ??
Maybe just in the beginning if you could just add a class to the div it would make it easier to hide it where we don’t want to show it, but a drop down selection to hide everywhere and a shortcode for just the buttons would be really cool.
Keep up the great work!
