For WebP conversion, several existing plugins can already be found. But the combination of WebP ánd?AVIF is so far unique for a free plugin.?That automatically makes this the best free plugin if you want to convert your images to AVIF.
No annoying ads or bloatware are present.?The developers are very helpful and open to suggestions and improvements.
I use the plugin to my complete satisfaction and as a thank you I have started translating it into Dutch and German language.

I was previously using another free plugin to create and serve WebP images, but the Avif feature was a paid “pro” extra. Happy to see that this plugin does both for free, in a sleek and simple UI, with no intrusive messages, nags or adverts. I’ll be swapping out the old plugin on all my websites later!

It’s absoutly friendly for blogger and small website. We don’t need too much function like cdn or thousands of photos waiting to be converted or mult-user. We just need a small plugin which can process the image locally and totally free by gd function. This plugin did that.
This plugin was definitely save you 99.99% of your time and is worth the 1 minute to install. 1 minute, install, check the conversion, make a cup of coffee, done.
