my Complianz cookie banner does not load. I followed all the steps you mentioned adn therefore set WPDebug to ‘true’. Now I got the following notice in my chrome browser:

I have no idea what to do, because I am a beginner. I am not aware of any translations. I have no multilanguage website. Can you help please?

I just installed Complianz (done it on many sites already) and somehow the banner text settings do not save. Tried multiple times and cleared caches on wp and browser. Color settings saved right but the texts stay default.

I have a site in Italian lemguace but my complianz is all in English, back end and front end… and doesn’t translate the document pages, plus I’ve found that sometimes the CSS skips and changes both the color of the banner and the translation I did to customize it, what can I do?

I have a problem at the syncronization step with cookiedatabase.org.
It can’t synchronize cookies with my site and a 540 gateway time-out error appears after a while.

Error on file : /wp-json/complianz/v1/do_action/sync?_locale=user 504 Gateway Time-Out

Connections with external api/sites are blocked for security reasons, but I can make exceptions if I have the url of the external service to provide. Currently I’ve requested an exception for the cookiedatabase.org and wpconsentapi.org url but the error persists. Do you have an idea?

I can’t recall how many times I have had language issues with complainz where it automatically change language or content of documents.

After updating to wordpress 6.7 the language of my privacy policy is switched to english while my site language is set to dutch.

Please address the stability of this plugin. There are too many bugs. Looking at the reviews, they seem to be from a lot of people who set up their site and are happy with the initial result. I am sure that if they look at their documents in 3 months time. A lot of garbage is in there due to the automatic cookie scan.

I have installed the Complianz plugin and run through the wizard. However, no cookie banner is displayed when I visit the website. Neither in Chrome, nor in Firefox. Clear page cache, browser without plugins, private/anonymous window – no cookie banner even then.

WordPress 6.6.2, Google Tag Manager installed (via Site Kit 1.139.0).

However, it did not work even before the Tag Manager and Site Kit.

Within the plugin code, a #text appears, with the url of the website, between “cmplz-cookiebanner-container” and complianz style.

I have some questions regarding the cookie policy document that is generated by complianz, especially the sentences under “7.1 Manage your consent settings” (I have temporarily set the language to English in order to provide the original wording).

So far, I have found out the following (please confirm if I am correct):

1. if the browser has set DNT (do not track), the following text is displayed “We have received a privacy signal from your browser. For this reason we have set your privacy settings on this website to strictly necessary. If you want to have full functionality, please consider excluding <web site url> from your privacy settings.” -> ok, makes sense

2. if the browser has not set DNT, the checkboxes for the different cookie types are shown and you can configure your settings -> ok, makes sense

3. I have also found the following sentences under section 7.1: “You have loaded the Cookie Policy without javascript support.?On AMP, you can use the manage consent button on the bottom of the page.” It’s not clear what causes this message (javascript was definitely enabled). It was an account with DNT and global privacy control enabled, so I would have expected the same wording as in #1 (and it was an account that is NOT logged in as a wordpress user). Interestingly, when I load the cookie policy from a new incognito tab of the same account, I can see the correct message.

Could you please help me understand:

What are the exact conditions for the message under #3 to appear?

What does “On AMP” mean? How / where can I see manage consent buttons?

I have two Youtube video embeds on the same page. When cookies are accepted, everything is good, but when cookies are denied, a placeholder shows on one video and the 2nd video shows but also breaks the page (there is a manage cookie link in the footer)

Good evening, on a site that has been updated to WordPress 6.7, the Complianz plugin creates a problem for me that causes the 403 error to arise on the site. It’s the plugin’s fault because by deactivating it the site becomes visible again. Is there any update planned? Thank you

For our other sites with this plugin (with same plugins including complianz), the onpage update changes to “Granted” but with this site, it wont change. I have compared the plugin settings and I can’t find anything different. Can you help?

Hi, is there any possibility that when the cookie banner is displayed, if the user does a scroll or clicks on some element of the page, the cookie consents will automatically accept and the banner will disappear with the consent granted effect?

Hey guys, please how do I make non-personalized Adsense Ads to show even if cookie consent is not given?

From my understanding in Consent Mode v2 the non-personalized ads should load anyway but there’s nothing showing prior to consent.

I got TCF v2.0 integration enabled in Advanced Ads, Consent Mode enabled in Complianz, Non-personalized ads set by default in Adsense dashboard, and still nothing shows without consent.

I would need to change some text in the cookie policy, but without stopping the synchronization.

I tested with the PHP code indicated here:

but it only allows me to change one line of text.

I need to delete all the text of No. 9 and simply replace it with “See our Privacy Policy” with a link to the page.

Hi, on a site it happens that even though I don’t use imprint as shown in the image

the link appears on the banner as in the picture below

I tried to redo the wizard and I disabled cache but the link continues to remain.

I solved it with

.cmplz-links .cmplz-link.impressum { display: none; }

but I would like to understand if there is something wrong with this installation because on other sites I don’t have any problems like this.

Is there a link i can use to reopen the banner on mobile?

I see that my site loads the _gcl_au cookie even when the visitor hasn’t accepted the banner. How can this be fixed?
