I used to love this plugin but not they seem to find it okay to put a huge overlay modal ad on the backend: “Join Our Upcoming Webinar: Accessibility – Your Competitive Edge in 2025! Date: September 26 | Time: 12pm CST Register Now” This is not OK!
This ad does not follow WordPress notification guidelines, and I absolutely dislike such ads in the backend of this nature or size. Ads per se are okay for freemium plugins, but absolutely not on regular admin pages and not in this manner.
Expecting a response. Truly disappointed in an otherwise innovative and good product.
]]>I like the backend as clean as possible. Therefore, I want to hide the Multicollab sidebar by default. I can hide the general Gutenberg sidebar with this JS
(function(wp) {
wp.domReady(function() {
const { dispatch } = wp.data;
dispatch('core/edit-post').closeGeneralSidebar();
});
})(window.wp);
How can I hide the Multicollab Sidebar? Adding this does not work:
dispatch('core/edit-post').closeGeneralSidebar("cf-activity-center/cf-activity-center");
Thanks in advance!
]]>This plugin is really nice, but it breaks the Gutenberg Block Library search. I installed it on another website on the same server, and it caused the same issue.
Also, in Gutenberg I see this error in the console: ‘store “mdstore” is already registered.’
]]>I can see the inline comment item in the editor. I can add comments. I can tag. When I click save draft, the comment remains. However, when I exit the saving session (icon top left), and I re-enter the post, the comment has disappeared. Doesn’t matter if I’m the admin or if I’m the reviewer.
]]>Hi
As soon as I activate Multicollab the appearance of some of my post changes. Not on the front end but in the backend. This post displays content in a boxed styled layout. Without Multicollab content is centered. With your plugin activated on the other hand, content spills over onto the sides. Gives a bad impression and makes me wonder about the solidity of the plugin.
Same page on the front end.
https://staging-yogaetmeditationparis-staging.kinsta.cloud/dictionnaire/ajapa-japa/
Same thing happens for other content types using the boxed style layout.
Kind regards

Hello!
We are having some problems, after clicking this button https://ibb.co/Xs48Zqd, the plugin asks for a page reload https://ibb.co/fMNP2WD
After that error, we can’t see any button to add comments https://ibb.co/7nVHPTq
could there be some code that prevents the button gets rendered?
Hi,
I want to report that I cannot click or select anything on the right side of Gutenberg Editor. This makes it difficult when I want to put a cursor on that particular side.
See the affected area: https://ibb.co/w7RS3YR
I have disabled all installed plugins and can confirm that Multicollab is causing the problem.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

]]>FYI I found I couldn’t add a comment when I have the Grammarly browser extension for Firefox active. Here’s how to reproduce:
1. Go to edit a post
2. select text to comment on
3. click the comment button
4. in the comment box that appears, select the text input
5. Start typing. Nothing appears
When I temporarily disabled Grammarly, I can enter comments just fine.

while exploring more on the premium plugin, It seems to throw an
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘length’)
that occurs when we type ‘@’ or ‘g’ in the editor.
The errors are encountered from the following conditions:-
File – commenting-feature-premium/admin/assets/js/commenting-block-admin.js
Line no. 794 –
if ((‘@’ === e.key || ‘KeyG’ === e.code) && typedText.length > 0 && $(createTextarea).is(‘:focus’) === true) {
Line no. 842 –
if (true === isEmail && typedText.length > 0 && $(createTextarea).is(‘:focus’) === true) {
here,
1. you’d need to check for the typedText
before && typedText.length > 0
2. you’d want to shift $(createTextarea).is(':focus') === true
this check to the left.
Thanks!

]]>Wordpress 5.9.3
Multicollab Premium version – 2.0.4.3
We’re using multicollab pro version. the option to enable suggestion mode is under multicollab settings with the toggle of suggest edits specific for each story. Is there a way to achieve that we enable the suggestion mode for all posts at once by default. so that it is not post specific and user does not have to enable it for every story again and again.
]]>This morning I got a reply from my writer that no comments were made. I check, and sure enough all 30 comments have completely disappeared like they never existed. No record. Not even a tally in the post list.
It seems I had accidentally published the post instead of saving the draft, and it went out to Telegram and Twitter. Once I saw it in my Telegram group hours later, I quickly deleted the announcements and sent the post back to draft.
Could that have removed all comments?
How do I get them back?
]]>Wordpress 5.9.3
Multicollab Premium version – 2.0.4.3
We are using multicollab free version and want to switch to Pro version. We have purchased Pro trial license and followed the steps to enable from thw wp-admin.
However our requirement is a bit different we are manually downloading the code in client_mu_plugins folder and activating via code.
So what are the steps to provide the license key from the code itself so that no manual intervention is required
In your www.remarpro.com readme.txt, the video you have embedded is appearing as private so potential users can’t see it.
]]>Wordpress 5.9.2
Multicollab 2.0.4.3
The docs indicate that comments can be deleted. Yet, the only options I’m seeing are:
– resolving comments (checkbox)
– sharing comment (under the three dots menu)
Tested in fresh WordPress sandbox, with no other plugins, as an Administrator.
Is deleting comments only available in paid versions?
Thanks!

]]>Hey there,
Love the plugin. Fits our needs perfectly. However, because of some customizations we are doing, we have to modify one of the JS files to get it to work properly. Nothing wrong with what you are doing. It’s on our end.
Have a request. Could you add some ‘apply_filters’ to the enqueue_scripts so we can load a custom js file? That way we won’t have to mess with your code directly.
Thanks
]]>Hi
We are testing this great plugin but encounter a strange problem. If we try to copy and paste text in the editor, the text is pasted twice. We have 40+ exact same WordPress installations and have this plugin installed on 2 of them for testing purposes, and this error only occurs on these two installs. After disabling the plugin, pasting works as normal.
]]>Hi there,
The plugin works well with the default wordpress user roles.
But when I used a custom user role, it will delete the comments after cliking the save / publish.
Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
Thank you!
]]>I was testing the plugin. First I edited a blog post written by another user with an ‘author’ user role. Left a comment for them.
Then I logged in with the author user account. I saw the comment left by the administrator user. I added my reply to the comment and didn’t mark it as resolve. Saved my draft.
Now when I reopened the post the comments were not showing inline and were only visible under the activity center.
I repeated the process, this time the second comment by the author user didn’t even appear in the activity.
I am not sure if there is something I am doing wrong. As soon as the user with the author user role adds a comment, the comment popup disappears on a reload and then it does not appear for any user role.
