Hi!

I have a subscription at Vimeo where I stock my videos.
I have created a wordpress website about a month ago and everything was perfectly fine until this morning. I did not change anything between yesterday and today. And nothing was updated… But this morning, all of a sudden, no video was available and if I tried to embark a new one, I got this message: “Sorry, this content cannot be embarked” (well, in French : désolé, ce contenu ne peut pas être embarqué”

It’s quite urgent as I am lauching a campaign for my book….
And I am quite desperate ??

Hi, I wanted to enable auto generated captions on the Vimeo embed code by default, is there a way I can enable it for all the Vimeo videos already imported and about to import? Also is there a filter or action I can use to be able to add “texttrack=en-x-autogen” on the embed code??I have the Pro plugin and submitted priority support on their site 3 days ago but didn’t get any response.

There is an error when I use the create shortcode tool.

The error is in the string, the “%” is not escaped before feeding it into sprintf.

Carousel thumbnails

The carousel thumbnails are not displaying correctly – they’re displayed as coloured vertical bars for some reason. This is only a recent development as they were working fine on this site and a couple of others I host until recently.

Import process not working with free version

Hi there,

So I installed the plugin and followed all the steps but I am unable to import any video at all.

On the import page after pressing button nothing happening and nothing is being logged in debug area as well.

Any idea where should I look for it.

Hi. I am thing￥king of switching from Vimeography to yours. But not successful. I did the initial setup with the vimeo app.

GOAL I want to add a showcase so i did not choose add videos but import content.
Then ID XXXXXX
Then showcase YYYYYY, Default order–LOAD FEED

Videos imported as draft.
I switch to PUBLISHED and click import again.

And then what? I don’t see a post where these are supposed to go.

Here is some data. I am not sure if I need the pro version or not (do you have lazy loading, etc.) But I just need to see my showcase…… I can’t find any instructions except the initial setup. THANKS

Hello,

For the past couple of days, I haven’t been able to add any new video with my plug in : Vimeotheque Pro.
When I click on “Add new” it’s just a white screen, anything appears.

What’s the problem ? Is it the new version ? How can I fix this ? I really need to upload a new video today and I can’t find any solution…

Regardless of my page containing a single video or a playlist, I don’t seem to have any alignment controls. I’d like to center the interface on my page, but no options appear, either as a pop up over the block, or in the block’s properties on the right.

I can non longer import recent Vimeo videos into my WP site as posts.
It gives me this error : Sorry, your video could not be imported, please try again.
The videos are public, unprotected, etc, as I always do. I’ve done it hundred of times with no issue.
Interested things, I tried with old videos, it’s working fine. It looks like the problem occurs only with video uploaded recently. Did Vimeo changed something ?

At each WP update, it’s always a sh..tshow and something breaks but it usually easy to resolve. What I usually do is resetting the Vimeo OAuth keys and recreate the App, no this time, I don’t get the last step, the pop up in the browser to accept the Vimeo API App….Tried with all the browsers I could find, same error.
Don’t know what’s wrong….

VIMEOTHEQUE – Vimeo search video returns nothing

Using Vimeotheque plugin, I tried searching video using the video ID. But it returns nothing not even error message. Page simply refresh.
When checked on developer tool, I saw this error message
Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.

Hi,

I’m trying to embed a vimeo-video post type (title, content, and video) using a plugin called Weaver Show Posts, which creates filters that allows the post to be displayed anywhere.

However, only the title and content are pulled in and the video isn’t displayed. I contacted the Weaver team to see what the cause may possibly be. They are not sure why the video isn’t being rendered and suggested I asked your team, given that you are most familiar with how the vimeo-video post type is formed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Vimeotheque Lite 1.3.3 under WP 5.3.2 causes the editing icons on the classic editor to disappear. When I disable the plugin, the editing icons appear again.

All the error messages below disappear when deactivating the plugin.

Embeded Videos Won’t Play Using Cloudflare

See the included link. I think the issue I am running into is that the Vimeotheque plugin may be using CSS that is referencing HTTP instead of HTTPS for embedded videos. So any WP sites using your plugin that are also using Cloudflare CDN may not be able to view Vimeo videos.

Please let me know if that is correct and if that can be fixed.

Change post type with Automatic Import

For most of my videos I want to show up as a video post, but I would like to have one of myu automatic import options make videos a standard post that just includes the video Title, Video, and Description as content. Right now, I can only see that the video/standard post option is a global setting. Is there a way to allow different automatic import rules to change the post type?

Import of channel only brings in subset of videos

Howdy. Thanks for allowing use of this excellent plugin. I have one small question: I’m importing videos from a recently created Vimeo channel. The channel currently contains 15 videos that were uploaded on three different days, with day 1 having a set of seven videos, day 2 having six videos, and day 3 having two videos. The result of the import done using Video Post Lite shows only the seven videos that were uploaded on day 1. Is this as expected? Or maybe I failed to set something properly? Aside from this little gotcha, everything looks to be working quite well. Any clues to what’s going on here would be greatly appreciated…

(Oh, and I meant to mention that all the videos in question are completely open to the public; the channel in question is https://vimeo.com/channels/1328009).

Hello,
I am having a difficult time figuring out how to fix these dimension issues. As you can see on the page I have black space at the top, bottom, and right side. I would like for my video to fill the whole player. My video dimensions are 1280×720… if that means anything.

I am not a pro at coding, but I know a little. I have been trying to figure out what to edit and where but I am having no luck, as this is a theme I purchased, and it has several different .css files.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Edited to add: It seems that this dimension problem only happens when using a playlist, not a single video in a post.

I have installed the plugin and it works fine, however I want the video to have the container size. Also when I insert the Id of the video it automatically copies all the text on a post page. I don’t need a text for ths videos to be by default option. How may I change it ?

I have e new issue with the dimensions of my player. You see that the video in the player is not 100% aligned to fit in the player. When I change dimensions, it’s not changing.
