It’s hard to believe you get all this for free. I can’t even imagine what the paid version could offer more than the free. Thanks a lot.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this plugin really deserves it.
It let’s you debug in a way Query Monitor doesn’t. I manage to find out lots of bottlenecks on few of my sites.
Thank you for providing such a tool, keep it up.

Thanks, bought premium after free version showed a problem with WP Offload Media plugin. Pro version showed much more, glad I purchased.

If you want to see how (without a ton of effort) your theme and plugins are performing, this is the plugin you need to try out. I’m still learning but it’s incredibly helpful to determine if I have any resource hogs on my websites. Highly recommended!

great plugin

Excellent tool, the free version is already very powerful, I moved to the pro version to be able to optimize my plugin, the graphs and function performance metrics made it extremely easy to profile. Highly recommended, well worth the price for those who need the extra performance kick!

Great support that goes far beyond supporting the plugin itself ????

Code Profiler plugin gives you exact details on what you should be doing rather than doing the guesswork. Also, the support is great. I have already started to use this plugin in all my WP stacks. A-must-have plugin. God bless. Thanks bunch.

Having looked at the screenshots before installing this plugin, I was dismayed to find that most of them refer to the premium version.
I don’t think it’s acceptable that the screenshots attached to the free version of the plugin should be for the paid-for pro version – this is false advertising in my eyes.

This has quickly become a goto plugin for helping us to manage our multisite WordPress installation with lots of installed plugins, and plugin requests. It helps us vet new plugins, as well as compare existing plugins that have similar functionality so that we can keep and recommend the most performant plugins on our multisite. We’re also finding very helpful in development of our own custom plugins.
Thanks for creating a great plugin!

I love Code Profiler, with it I can figure out which plugins have a poor performance and I can think about if this plugin is really that important to have or if I can just throw it out.
After having a specific problem with my site I posted a feature request in the forum, they were working on it quickly and the support was very good! I bought the premium version and I am impressed. I could lower the loading speed of some of my sites by 50-70% because Code Profiler helped me identify the problems.

This worked surprisingly well! Very useful settings. Much better than the old P3 profiler.

Hello!
First of all, is there something seriously wrong with the search function on this site? It’s not working for me AT ALL. If this issue has already been handled, I apologize.
ok, so I installed Code Profiler on the client’s website. I went to set it up and run it, and it literally says: “The following folder is not writable: /home/[website]/public_html/wp-content/uploads/code-profiler. Please change its permissions or ownership so that Code Profiler can write to it.”
After starting a scan, it says “Cannot create the report: the profiler did not generate a data file (#1). Make sure the following directory is writable: /home/[website]/public_html/wp-content/uploads/code-profiler/. If you are using a caching plugin or an opcode cache, try to disable it. You may also find more details about the error in the “Log” tab.”
I got on a chat yesterday to learn that #1, GoDaddy has slow, arrogant, unhelpful chat reps, and #2, there is no /public_html/ on Managed WordPress Hosting with GoDaddy. It’s something else, like /sssss234234234/html/ or some stuff.
So, the question is, Can I get this to work on that hosting enviroment, and, if so, how?
Thanks so much!

This plugin is not much good without the pro upgrade. Seems unfair that I need to buy an annual subscription so I can run this plugin once or twice to fix issues and then never use it again. I understand the product needs to be maintained but the fee is way too high for a single use.

The best plugin!!!!

Finally a profiler plugin for wordpress that works, was missing P3 for years and this works even better. No more time consuming xdebug profiling into cachegrind files for me ??

I have just recently started using this tool and found it very helpful in identifying which plugin might be slowing down a particular page load. The interface is intuitive and the results are fast and detailed. I’m looking to now purchase the Pro version!

Gracias!

I am a developer of premium plugins, and I was able to discover a real bottleneck in our own plugin with this profiling tool. I use the PRO version for this, worth any money, and the breakdown by script file / method / execution time is great!
I don’t know what magic is behind this (probably the calculation based on the backtrace), but it’s awesome and doesn’t require another PHP extension.

This plugin works great. The pro version is an easy buy as just one scan can pay for itself quickly!
As an experienced programmer, I am always upset at just how slow some wordpress installs can be. Code Profiler Pro brings true function level profiling to WordPress!
The support is truly amazing. I had a problem with a bad plugin and they worked around it in hours.
Thanks!

The free version fulfils its main function of helping to determine the time required for the different plugins (and theme) to load, I hope the developer keeps this fantastic plugin up to date!

The plugin runtime chart is cool -> 2 stars for it. But all other useful profiling tools are part of the pro version and missing in the standard version. The Standard version is not useful.

A few days ago, I had rated this app with 3 stars, thinking that the problem that was presented to me was because of it. However, thanks to the dedication of its developers, we found that the problem was due to an incompatibility with another app that had been recently updated. So I correct my assessment. The app works excellent.

I was one step away from giving it 5 stars, since until two weeks ago it was working great. But now, it returns the following error “The website returned the following HTTP status code: “500 Internal Server Error. By default, the profiler will always abort and throw an error if the server did not return a 200 HTTP status code. You can change that behavior in the Settings section if the page you are profiling needs to return a different code (3xx, 4xx or 5xx)”. And my website is not down, quite the opposite, it works perfectly. I have tried stopping the plugins and security systems, but it keeps giving me that error. Nor have I made too relevant changes in the structure that influence its operation.

Kudos to this amazing plugin. This was a dream, and now it’s real!

Thanks for writing this free plugin, I was looking for such plugin since years, since the P3 plugin is not maintained and makes websites crashing.
It’s simple, fast, and easy to use!
