Can I import only Joomla articles and choose which ones before import?

Also, can I run the import several times choosing a different batch of articles each time?

I try to import content from Joomla, seems that all posts are imported but for images it gives an error like it`s not found. But when looking source code, the image url is correct. When looking joomla folders, images are in subfolder (images/subfolder) Shall I modify some plugin file accordingly? Would it be possible also to import all posts to custom post type in wordpress?

Which versions of Joomla is this importer compatible with? I need to migrate the articles of an old Joomla (1.5) to WordPress – will this plugin work with it?

Hi, I tried importing data from our Joomla site spliff.pl to a new WordPress site.

At first, everything seemed fine. Database connection worked. But then, despite that there are many articles and media on the source site, the Joomla Importer plugin does only find and import categories.

What might be the reason?
