Hello – We host our own videos and do not want to use 3rd party services such as Vimeo. Is there an option to use locally hosted videos with your plugin?
]]>Hello,
I am interested in your plugin, but before I buy it I would like to know if the following options are possible:
1. Can video lessons be shown as a product in Woocommerce?
2. If the answer to question 1. is yes, is it possible for some video lessons to be free and others paid?
3. Can customers add video lessons to their admin panel and watch them as many times as they want once they have purchased or claimed(if free).
4. Can the certain video lessons be available for online watching on the admin panel of the respective customer who has purchased this video lesson indefinitely?
5. Can the user interface be translated into another language?
Hi. Vimeo changed something on the 14th, giving that “not exist” error on videos uploaded since then, depending on how it’s embedded.
Source: https://twitter.com/VimeoStaff/status/1439951302943903747 and https://twitter.com/OutlastOutlet/status/1438198892755968002?s=20 (and others)
Vimeo suggest to contact them directly to raise a help ticket, but the replies say to embed them differently.
Getting “Sorry This video does not exist.” messages.
https://vimeo.com/{id}/{key} works fine
https:// player.vimeo.com/{id} does not.
My client hasn’t got the latest version of your plugin, but I couldn’t see anything the changelog that would be relevant.
I’m assuming (possibly wrongly!) that this plugin uses the old style embed code because the videos appear in the back end list, sucked from vimeo, but don’t render in front end lessons (“video does not exist”).
Please would you let me know if this has been fixed in the latest version and I’ll get him to renew his license. Or if it’s on the road map. Cheers keep up the good work.
]]>The description for the plugin says “The Video Lessons Manager plugin allows you to manage video courses, lectures and lessons while users and administrators can track progress, leave comments and mark favorites.”
But I can’t find anywhere that allows users to leave comments on the videos. There is the “notes” area, but that can’t be seen by anyone except the administrators. Is there somewhere that I’m missing where you can enable actual comments, where users can leave comments on a video that other users can see and reply to?
I’m using CM Video Lesson Manager Pro Version 3.4.4
Thank you!
]]>It is possible to force viewing videos in the proper order? So, you must see the first video before you can see the next video; and so on…
]]>Hi,
Due to law restriction, in my country sellers cannot use international payment ways, such as PayPal, etc. Yet, sellers can use online payment ways provided by local companies. They also provide online credit card payment. I want to know if I use your plugin, can it connect with my regional online payment way, or I can only select payments from what your plugin provides?
Do you happen to have a Hungarioan version of the plugin? If not can we get it translated? Thanks. Peter
]]>All my users got a message “”Sorry, We cannot play this video for you becuase you exceed your watch limit.” (including the typo) since the last update.
Setting 0 in the limit do not fix (it was 0 by default by the way).
Resetting the limit to all users do not fix.
I had to put 999999999999 minutes as the limit as a workaround.
I’m looking for a plugin to sell videos, the videos will be available with a single package, but they must be consecutive, users can see the second video only after seeing the first, and the third after seeing the second, and so to continue with others, is it possible to do this with your plugin?
]]>Hi,
I want to use your plugin. I noticed you offer also an additional plugin “content restriction”. I already use a membership plugin. Could I restrict access content with the membership plugin? Or do I need your addon plugin if I want to offer the course to members only?
best regards
Hello
Can one create a video course and then allow students to take a test only after they have watched all the videos… so that at the end of the last video the test page unlocks?
Thanks!
]]>Does your plugin offer the possibility to bookmarks specific moments of a video?
I link that would go to different parts of the video, not to different parts of the page. Is that possible?
Example:
In an HTML page (WordPress), there would be links and a video below them. If I click on any link they would put the video on a specific moment (time).
For example (considering the above image):
If I click on the link “Completed Does God Need a Strategy?” the video would go to the moment 1:01 as shown in the picture below:
]]>I heard via email before my purchase that the Channel functions available in the free version will soon be in the PRO version. Do you have an expected release date?
I’m trying to judge how much time I should put into a work around.
]]>Hello,
How can I paste the already created channel or channel list into a page with the free version?
Im trying to add a created channel to my page, but cannot find any way for it.
I can see the preview of it from the admin, but unfortunately cannot use it on my site.
Would you please help?
Thanks in advance!
After filling up the Vimeo API details, whenever I try to save settings, it says 403 Error. You donot have access to this page. Have tried re-installing the plugin several times, but same error persisted. Please help
Thanks.
]]>I am so excited to find your plugin!! And then the letdown … activation prompted the following message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home3/kaleid11/public_html/violinteachersworkshop/wp-content/plugins/cm-video-lesson-manager/cm-video-lesson-manager.php on line 21
I am a very novice user of WordPress, so have no idea what this means. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!!
