Hi,
This plugin hasn’t been updated in two years, and only tested up to WordPress 5.6.12. Is it still being actively developed? And, is it still safe to use security-wise?
]]>I have the plugin working. But how to add a poster frame?
]]>Hi,
Support for adding metadata to videos in both the Cloudflare Stream Dashboard and the WordPress Plugin using the oEmbed standard on par with Vimeo and Wistia.
This is for SEO purposes, as well as for other services that integrate with video hosts so they can pull the video metadata in and embed in JSON-LD format.
e.g.#1 For example, all food recipe websites use a Recipe plugin, which allows you to paste the embed url for the video recipe. The recipe plugin pulls the metadata from the video host via oembed and makes sure it follows schema.org’s requirements for video objects. These plugins use the schema.org recipe object, and then make the video a sub object of the recipe object.
Here is an example of that:
https://www.wptasty.com/tasty-recipes/recipe-videos
Example#2: Yoast’s Video SEO plugin. Yoast’s Video SEO plugin supports Vimeo, Wistia and YouTube. oEmbed and metadata seems pretty standard good stuff for a video host.
Here is an example of that:
Yoast’s Video SEO video host support list…

I’m sure there are countless other examples where services and WordPress plugins that rely on oEmbed to include videos in their product’s services.

I’ve been using the Buddyboss Theme and Platform along with Learndash for our trainin site and we’ve been using cloudflare streaming services for our videos since 2 years. However earlier today when I uploaded new videos on our cloudflare account I was not able to add them to the respective Learndash lessons using the cloudlare stream video pluggin. When I open the Cloudflare Stream Library it appears blank.
Suspecting that there may be a plugin clash I disabled all other plugins and even tried another theme along with the cloudlare stream video pluggin and yet the library still appeared blank.
Is this plugin no more supported? In that case we can not use cloudflare streaming with wp. Is this a fixable issue or should we use another plugin? What should we do? Please advise.
]]>Hi there – the plugin page says that Cloudflare Stream doesn’t support live streaming, but it does now, so do does this plugin support that?
]]>Hello,
I’ve purchased the Stream members and uploaded your plugin on a Staging website, and it seemed to work fine. However, when I installed the plugin on my main website, I got the following error when I tried to update any page:
Updating failed. The response is not a valid JSON response
In order to fix this, I deactivated and erased the plugin. And after that, I am able again to update my pages.
How do I fix this?
Also, every time I wanted to use the video, I could not see it on the CloudFlare library, I had to download it again. It says that the format is not supported. The video is a Apple MPEG-4 movie. Should I save it in other format?
I appreciate your assistance and support in advance.
]]>The media library has changed in WP 5.8 and the ‘Stream library’ button no longer works – it just returns the ‘normal’ WP media library with local videos.
Downgrading to 5.7.2 restored functionality for me.
]]>In the admin settings for Cloudflare Stream Settings, I’m presented with the following option:
By choosing to share diagnostic and usage data, you help improve Cloudflare Stream for WordPress. You can opt out at any time by unchecking the box below.
Opt out of Heap Analytics ?
The explanation, and the setting contradict each other. It’s confusing as to whether ticking opts-in or opts-out!
When encountering a tick box, it’s typically understood that:
? = YES / DO IT
? = NO / DON’T DO IT
Explanation:
“opt out… by unchecking“
Option:
“Opt out… ?”
So which is it, is ticking the box opting in, or opting out?
]]>Hello, are you thinking of updating the plugin?
I can′t see the upload videos and the plugin conflicts with the featured image upload button, when it′s active i can’t see the upload button.
Thanks
Hello,
When I try to select Cloudflare Stream library it shows blank screen though I added videos in my cloudflare library and all my credentials and APIs are correct.
And when I upload any video from my computer It shows this message
“Failed to load video. You may not have permission to view it or a network error has occurred”
Can you please tell me what’s wrong?
Thanks
I want to run the plugin on my multi-site. When I activate it on one of my sites I get a message that says “Cloudflare Stream is not configured. Visit to settings page to get started.”
When I click on the link to configure the settings I get a page that gives me this error: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”
]]>Hi,
There is a notice in the console…
On August 3, 2020, Stream Player will begin a roll out of an update. Please visit https://community.cloudflare.com/t/major-stream-player-changes-rolling-out-aug-3-2020/189844 for more information about the update.
The plugin has not been updated in 6 months.. is it still supported?
Worked ok, but now have over 60 videos, they do not appear in the stream library
]]>I don’t understand how to integrate the stream player into my wordpress site. I downloaded the wp engine plugin but no cloudflare stream setting appears under wordpress settings as indicated in the help sections(https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027744552-Using-Cloudflare-Stream-with-WordPress) and videos (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NCpJOxcNIY). I don’t see an Enable Stream button as indicated in the set up directions, but I have videos in my stream library and the https link works if I past it in my browser (but not when pasting it into my divi them video player).
Any suggestions? Thanks
My video is not playing when using the URL option embeded on my site. It’s showing that its blocked…Cross-Origin Read Blocking (CORB) blocked cross-origin response https://watch.cloudflarestream.com/… with MIME type text/html. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5629709824032768 for more details.
Any suggestions here? Hosting on WPEngine says I should contact support here…
I am using Divi theme. Thanks!
]]>I really like the Cloudflare Stream plugin. My only issue is, is there a way to make it so certain user roles such as Author and Contributor can only upload and not have access to the Stream library?
Also if you guys added automatic thumbnail creation that would be great. And even a step up from that would be the motion thumbnails. Anything to make the plugin resemble YouTube uploader.
Also if you could use it with Classic editor and Elementor Pro
Might sound like alot but this plugin is great and has so much potential.
Thanks for the development and take care
Hello, Is anyone else having an issue when they go to upload media it is not working?
When I upload or use media from Cloud stream it is fine. But when i go to add a feature image from my WordPress media library it shows up blank.
Any advise?
You need to add the upload of videos that are already in the gallery …
Just adding by the blocks is horrible
]]>Hello,
I was searching for some way to use the plugin on the classic editor but i see an answer from a year ago about this and no resolution found.
I need be able to upload and get the media library from cloudflare on the admin panel.
Maybe some pro plugin for this with some custom features?

]]>Hi,
I’m using wordpress version 5.4.1, and Cloudflare steam plugin version:1.0.3, although the API key and Account ID is correct its complaining for “Cloudflare API keys incorrect issue”
]]>Hi dev team, I mean to modify your plugin for my project, but I can’t find the package.json file for the “npm install” and also some other files (like maybe gulpfile.js?), where I can get them?
]]>Hi,
I have been uploading videos with some trouble, when I am uploading these files, one at a time, some get up to 80% then cuts out and starts again and continues to do this till it shows an upload error and says “see the console for details”.
These files range from 60mb to 900mb and none of them are working.
Can someone help with this?
Cheers

]]>URGENT QUERY FOR CLOUDFLARE STREAM PLUGIN
i’ve been trying to upload a video to cloudflare stream in video block on site cew.org.au
I get this error code and the upload fails:
https://prnt.sc/pb3oi3
Please respond urgently to this request – this plugin is not working as intended and wpengine are not supporting this, so i’m stuck trying to provide a clean video solution, as described in your plugin description that doesn’t actually provide video.
Dear Team
We are trying to build a web application something similar like Udemy. Our application is very simpler than udemy and though of building the application front in Angular 8 and backend in wordpress. So basically to begin with I need to check the feasibility of this Cloudflare wordpress, so please let me know how to use this plugin in wordpress localhost.
Please give a reply at the earliest.

Hi WP Engine Support,
I have tried the plugin in my WordPress project, I already fill in the API keys related info to the plugin setting, can upload the file in the block, but can’t select in the Cloudflare Stream Library, show nothing inside, anything else needs to set or configure in the plugin editor? Thanks!
]]>Hello,
Everything works fine on desktop, however if on mobile (used Samsung S7) or using devtools to change the viewport to an average mobile phone size, a buffering icon will take place in the player definitely.
This problem can be resolved by tapping the player numerously and the video will load fine. However, this can be misleading to viewers, thinking the video player is broken. Even then, controls such as changing the resolution and speed is now gone.
I have temporarily changed the video to auto-play as a quick remedy, I prefer not to do this as it will just consume more data.
Thank you.
]]>Hi,
This plugin looks great but when I go to insert a video using the Cloudflare Stream block, the media frame that pops up is empty. There’s no errors in the console. I error logged the remote api response in the request method of the Cloudflare_Stream_API class and the plugin successfully gets the videos from my account but only on the plugin settings page. This is in a clean install of WordPress v5.2.2 and Cloudflare Stream v1.0.1. There’s no other plugins installed.
Cheers,
Dylan
]]>Hello guys, first, thanks a lot for this wonderful plugin.
It’s surely a 5 over 5 stars!!!
It works great if you have Gutenberg installed, which unfortunately is something many people can’t afford (like me) because their website is based upon a theme (for me it’s “Uncode”, from undesign) that only works with WPBakery page builder.
So here are my suggestions for next developments or addition to your amazing plugin:
a) making it working with “classical editor” or having a block loading from WPBakery page builder directly (which is a pretty diffused page builder).
b) also, one of the best functionalities of CF stream is that they allow for signed URLs. But their requirements DO require technical knowledge (curl, bash, keys, token…..) and it’s pretty complex to make it working.
I tested thoroughly your plugin but it does not allow to deal with signed URLs… if I check on CF the “Require Signed URLs” check, I get an error on your player “Failed to load video. You may not have permission to view it or a network error has occurred”
It would be great if you could add some kind of friendly UI to manage signed urls allowing to bypass technical knowledge to do so.
Thanks a lot and thanks again for the time you dedicated into this plugin!
